The menu is huge - and all the food we have tried so far is really authentic and delicious. Don't miss the dessert; Mango sticky rice! So yummy.
Their lunch special is a bargain. but the quality is just right for the price. Their red curry was too sweet for my taste. This is the right place to those looking for a cheap restaurant.
Lunch especial wasn’t bad for the price. Tasty food.
Yellow curry is on point. Everything else I tried was pretty good. They have a nutty to go system. Seems like they are due to a technology upgrade. But even though they are super super busy no one other than customers who have been waiting for 45+ min for their order are bothered. The customer service was pretty good. Not much seating available. Most people order Togo. This place is cute.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. My partner showed it to me and I haven’t found a place better since. Good stays hot even after sometime, portions are pretty good for the price… it’s been busier since things have opened up but it’s worth the wait
The food was great! I highly recommend it to anyone.
Great spot for Thai food. They have a lunch special available even during the weekends. The thai iced tea was really good. We just visited over the holiday weekend and Im glad we got to try this place. I'd go again if I'm in town.
Nine & nine kitchen is located in Pasadena, they have a cute tuk tuk (the iconic Thai transport) at the storefront. You just can't miss it! So cute! Speaking of the food, we opted for a Tom yum noodle soup, deep fried minced pork sandwich, and a lunch special red curry. What impressed me the most was the red curry lunch special, it came with some complimentary salad and two egg rolls. Great value for the money, red curry was good too. And, I really loved the sauce that came with the sandwich, it was so refreshing. Overall, another good Thai restaurant in Pasadena. Worth visiting.
9&9. Why is it called that? Genuinely don't know but it doesn't matter does it?This place was slammed on a Monday night and there was a line to get a table. That speaks a ton for me given for much competition there is around hereFood:Panang curry - a little too sweet for my liking and not spicy enough but overall, it was good. They give you a healthy portion of meat and rice and curry so props to them for that.Beef jerky - we were hoping this was like a crying tiger with the tart dipping sauce. It wasn't, but it was still good. The beef was crispy and had a great flavor.Tom yum noodle soup -the main reason we came here. The wife we craving this so we came here. I tried it and thought the soup was good but was a little watered down. Not badly watered down, just would have preferred a stronger flavor.Service - as I said, they were slammed and they were still super nice and accommodating. To be honest, I could sense they may have been overwhelmed but the customers were patient and the employees were on top of everything.Great place that I would likely be going back to
I searched google for "best pad thai in LA" and this place is one of the 13 come up... so the pad thai is in fact good, not perfect but good enough... I have a roast duck curry and it is not bad either. parking may be a trick around this area... so you have to use some imagination to park somewhere around...
