This place ranks in the top 20 vegan restaurants in the Los Angeles Times; and it’s TRUE. Authentic southern Indian food; and a great grocery store for authentic imported Indian goods.
Excellent food and great service. All dishes are fresh and excellent .. staff is very professional and courteous specially Shashi. All items are priced very reasonably.
I had been here before and remembered the food being good even though there is usually a line. I walked in and there was only a family of three in front of me that was already being served and there was two guys behind the counter. I thought I'd be in and out. I stood there for nine minutes without being helped or even acknowledged with a line of about five people forming behind me. I got a call from a friend I had called about 10 minutes before and I just left. No food is worth bad service.
Good Indian food joint near Caltech. I wish their food was less oily, otherwise quite decent. I also appreciate the grocery options and some more produce would be nice.
I’ve tried this place twice now. Both times the food has been delicious. First time, the food wasn’t very Spicy. The second time was very spicy. I recommend getting a mango lassi to calm down the spice. The fresh coconut is good too. The price is fair and the food is great. It’s only $11.99 to get a 3 veggie combo. They’re also very friendly.
This review is for grocery shopping. I went by their rating, didn't realise that its for the food and other cuisine they offer. Well , grocery is limited, not everything is fresh, you are lucky to time it right, better call them and check I guess but still if you are not the first one to be there, you will miss out. An old aunt next to me drained all the Okra from that big box and all I was left was bad stuff. Most of the non grocery items had expired. I don't like the trick that when the manufacturing date is either omitted or badged with another sticker. I spent most of my time finding non expired items, I mean some are expired as old as 2020 and few 2021. I don't think I am coming back until I am assured that some serious changes have been done. I really hope that the owners flip the grocery experience around.
Person on counter was nice.Prices are okay. If you want some fresh veg then call when they will get new stock usually after 5pm.Tried their paratha and idli l, idly was not fresh/good they changed after request.
Good place for Indian groceries. They also have a small takeout window where one can get vegetarian food. South Indian food like idly, vada and Dosa were also available.
GREAT vegetarian /vegan food, good for indian food. GREAT value for meals, large portions, plenty to share. Not too spicy, can taste samosas flavor, not only hot pepper like most places. Groceries are also reasonably priced.
Love love, love it! You have got to solicit this place people! They cook scrumptious Indians cuisine meals & sell any & everything for Idian cooking.
