The food was fantastic. Best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. Nice place friendly employees, comfortable environment. nice ambience. I really enjoyed this little spot
I love this ice cream! A huge selection of cookies to choose from, inside which you then put the most delicious ice cream. I never thought it could be so delicious! I want to note that I ate similar things in other areas of LA - but everything is not right, either the cookies are hard, or the ice cream is not very ... The queues are always huge, but it's worth it!
We had an excellent breakfast sharing a waffle and a breakfast sandwich with tall coffees. Very nice food. Waffle from scratch without that commercial waffle smell. They need to be a bit quicker but we recommend ‘em. .
Cute place with lots of interesting decorations. We stopped by before our hiking trip and what can I say, everything’s so good. Reasonable price and generous portions with friendly services. Will come back again for another brunch date.
Fantastic cafe! Friendly staff. Feels like a second home. I love the outdoor patio. We came for lunch because a friend recommended the Iced Toasty Chai. SO GOOD. We were not disappointed. It’s like a mix of chai and French toast. Loved it with the oat milk.I would also highly recommend the breakfast sandwich on a cheese bagel with sun dried tomato. They mix the cheese in with the eggs and soft scramble them. Especially good with the sharpness of the sun-dried tomatoes. And they took the time to griddle the bagel so it’s soft and buttery. A+Definitely worth the drive to Altadena! We’ll be back.
Waited an Hour for 2 breakfast sandwiches, I knew there was a wait in the start because the air head host told me. I was there at a reasonable time 9am not to packed , so I figured hey why not. I was not offered water and didn’t get my apple juice and coffee until I went up and asked for it 20 mins in. I finished my sandwich before the bagel came out I guess they must have gone to NY TO GET MY BAGEL. DONT COMEHERE UNLESS YOU LIKE WAITING AND HOUR FOR A BAGEL THAT NEver gets there AND NOT BEING ABLE TO GET A REFUND FOR IT. You earned this review air head of a host.
This coffee house is the real deal. Independently owned by the friendliest woman as well as all of her talented staff. Very chill hang out as well. Love this place. Give them your business!
Great food, good drinks- lots of options to customize both. The staff and owner are incredibly warm and friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating and free parking.I'll be back again and again and again :)
Lovely place with very nice outdoor seating and tasty food and drinks
A day may come when I get enough sleep and don’t need coffee but today is not this day. Saturdays are for brunch adventure. So without further ado let’s do this café review. My Place Café is an eclectic neighborhood café serving organic roast and a small breakfast. It’s cute interior decor is imbued with wall frames and message boards. Moreover, they have cute front outdoor patio. They’re located in a tiny corner plaza between E. Woodbury and Los Robles avenue. I was ebulliently greeted by Latanya, owner, and she explained their menu ardently. Their menu may look overwhelming and nebulous but on the contrary it’s very direct and simple. I end up ordering an oatmeal, iced coffee and turkey, veggie scrambled eggs on butter croissant. After I paid at the counter, they brought my drink and food at the front patio. My iced cold coffee (whole milk and splenda) was refreshing. Turkey croissant sandwich and oatmeal were warm, tasty and flavorful. Service was warm and on point. Staff were amiable, followed health protocol and professional. Prices were fair and competitive. Free Wifi. Parking was easy. In this voluminous review, it’s time to make a remark about this café. Overall, I had a really good experience and whole heartedly enjoyed my meal/drink. I highly recommend this café spot.
