Ambience/surrounding: We requested to be seated outside because we brought our dog along with us. Although they have mosquito repellents hanging on the trees, it still wasn’t enough to keep the mosquitos away. My partner and I got bit a few times throughout our time here, which made the overall experience a little bothersome. Food & Value: The food SUCKED. My partner got the champagne brunch. He chose the French toast as his main course and we both strongly disliked it. I personally feel as if they overcomplicated their recipe for their French toast, which only resulted to it having a weird off taste. On the other hand, I got the English high tea. For the price I paid, i personally didn’t think it was worth it. The portion sizes were way too small and every food item on the tier tasted whatever/nothing special. I’ve paid around the same amount at other high-tea services and those places give you a better bang for your buck as opposed to this place and their tea sandwiches were a lot better (such as Morning Lavender in Tustin and Tea Rose Garden in Pasadena). I also ordered the strawberry lemonade on the side — it was definitely nothing special. I regretted spending the $12 on it. If there is something good to say about the food, it would just be that everything was served aesthetically nice, but that’s about it. Service: The service was good and the employees are friendly. One of them went out of their way to bring a small bowl of water out for my dog. Overall, I had my hopes high for this place, especially since I love high-tea experiences. But, I wouldn’t be coming back to this specific place.

Food and service was great.

It was an amazing experience thank you. I really enjoyed being here :)

This place and particularly the service here deserves 0 stars or even negative stars. My thoughtful, loving friends hosted a bridal shower here for me with our friends and mothers. This was a momentous day for us and this place just about ruined it. :( First, we were seated in the hot sun in the back patio. Though the patio would have been beautiful, we were not able to enjoy it because all the proper tables and umbrellas that were supposed to be there were given to the party out front. Second, our orders were completely botched. And third, our food came out THREE HOURS AFTER ORDERING, which led us to missing our next appointment. The woman who finally brought out our food (and who supposedly runs the place) botched our orders, and when we tried to communicate, just RUDELY SHUT US DOWN. Lastly, we were overcharged... and that too for poor/rude service, terrible and minimal food. The worst part was the lack of receptiveness from the person who runs this place and how hurtful she was. She was outright mean, unwilling to listen and unwilling to make this a decent experience. Do not go here, especially not for any special occasion. The food is not good, the service is worse. (Vivian is the only saving grace.)

This is my favorite place for brunch. The atmosphere is so beautiful and charming. The staff is very kind and welcoming. And the food choices are unique and delicious. Just a lovely place to spend a Sunday.

After watching Bridgerton, I was stoked to go for afternoon high tea at a cute spot...and Madeline was it!!!This place exceeded all expectations in terms of food, ambiance and service. Everything was top notch! I came in with lower expectations but left with a great impression.Parking is 2 hours on the streets but my server let me know that the parking lot right behind the place was free. The tea selection was absolutely delightful with plenty of options to choose from. For food, they have vegan options which is awesome! I like my meat so I didn't order from that menu but there are also 3 different sets to choose from. You can opt for one set but add $28 to share. This means you get two teapots of choice, two soups and two scones. The rest are just one set but definitely shareable between two people. My two favorites were the scones and the crab cakes!! I definitely wanted seconds for both. Now on to decor...wow it was so beautifully decorated inside the place. I thought I was in Paris on a fine summer day sipping tea and catching up with a friend. They also had someone playing the harp which upped my experience another notch. My server was so kind and offered me a little something extra because I was still hungry. I didn't catch her name but Thank you for the amazing service and recommendations!

A very pleasant 1st experience of High Tea, though the other 7 members of my party had all been here before. Some of my party wrote their Sunday-go-to-Meetin' clothes with Fascinators, others wrote casual street clothes. The wait staff was knowledgeable and patient, given my party's slight disorganization.Recommended

Beautiful venue and the food was good. I liked how we were not rushed through the courses. I was surprised that the tiers didn't include any tea cakes but I didn't mind it too much. It wasn't busy so it was nice and quiet. Perfect ambiance for catching up with friends I haven't seen in a couple months.

Nice atmosphere, good service, delicious and fresh food and nice teas!

Easter was a delightful experience at Madeline’s. The service was good, and the food was terrific. Venue is gorgeous.
