We sat outside at an individual table. It was very quiet and the service was excellent. The avocado rolls had a very generous amount of avocado. The edamame was well done but didn't have much in the way of salt on it. My partner had the ramen and was so so about it. We definitely would go back but might try eating indoors next time and some different menu items.
They were extremely slow at preparing the sushi, and considering they were not at all busy I was really shocked that this was the case. On top of which the sushi was, at best, decent.I do not recommend.
Rames is good. The spicy ramen is my favorite. Unfortunately like almost every place around they are super short staffed and service isn't great. Definitely check it out but not if you're on a time crunch.
Very small. Sushi menu is very small. didn't stay because of this. Parking in Pasadena is also not ideal so you may have to pay to park close or park and then walk. In the nice part of downtown Pasadena
This store changes my impression to the Japanese style since it is horrible! I ordered the ribeye over rice and it looks like someone just pour the soy sauce on the rice which makes this meal so salty. My husband ordered the Kara Miso Ramen and the meat in there is half raw. The sprout has weird smell. To be honest, the food is so horrible!
Ordered from this restaurant instead of the one in Alhambra and that was the biggest mistake. I ordered the food for delivery and from the time I ordered to the time I received my food it was 2 hours later. The funny thing was, I ordered at 2:38 pm…well after lunch and we’ll before dinner. The food arrived lukewarm and it tasted horrible. The gyoza is terrible. I will NEVER order from this particular location ever again. If you want better quality, go to the one in Alhambra. That location has yet to disappoint.

This is the Best ramen we have ever had! Broth is rich and flavorful, veggies fresh, and pork belly was delicious.

If there’s a wait at Lunasia and you find yourself peaking down the block and considering this place instead, just stick with Lunasia. The wait could be as long as two hours even and you should still definitely just wait for Lunasia.
