Never seen a place like this you order your food from on line in a lobby top restaurant and food for kids 5 star restaurant to take home food was as good going to the real thing blew my mine no deserts little bit of a wait but wait
This review is really for Panini Kabob Grill inside Kitchen United Mix. First time ordering, so bought one of their family meals to try several items at once. We were very impressed across the board. The food was ready earlier than their estimated pickup time. The packaging, presentation, and portions were excellent for the price. When I arrived home, all the hot items were still hot & the cold items remained cold. The chicken & salmon kabobs were moist & tastefully seasoned, cooked through, but not overcooked. You can order half & half of the sides, so tried both basmati & brown rice; both were cooked perfectly. The Mediterranean & Avocado salads were fresh, colorful & delicious. This will be our new go-to for Mediterranean food in Pasadena.
love the concept. love the food. wait time and poor communication is ridiculous. i ordered my food online at 1:37 and was told to pick it up 2:00. i get there a bit earlier than needed to check in with them. i get a text notification at 2PM saying that it’s ready, but i don’t actually get my food until 2:23. please fix that. i ordered 2 smoothie bowls. in almost an hour, that’s enough time to have made my order 3 or 4 times. i understand that rushes happen, but at least communicate that to the customer. what is the point of having updates sent to my phone if they’re incorrect?
Great experiences when I have been there. I have had food delivered and been there to pick it up. There's a big screen to tell you that your food is still being made or done, pretty cool. Convenient and my whole family gets what they are craving.
Food is great. Just the wait this time was long. But will still go back.
This was my favorite spot for kebabs when I lived in the valley. The chicken kebabs here are still amazing...perfectly cooked/marinated. Lime vinaigrette dressing with the salad is still awesome. One disappointment was the chicken soup. My order had a few hunks of meat with some griscle-y parts still attached and a big layer of chicken skin floating on top. Idk if it's the location or just how they make it now.
Okay, I haven't ordered anything yet, but I'm not impressed. I've invested a good 45 minutes in signing up as a PKG member, navigating both the "Kitchen United Mix" and PKG websites and apps, and lining up an online order for delivery, but I cannot for the life of me claim the advertised 25% off promised for my first online order. In the PKG app, I was alerted to a different offer, free hummus and pita, but that isn't showing up in my cart either. I value good food, but I value good communication even more. I'm out.
The food is good, but they are always late
