This is a great place with a collective of like minded people who make this place a go 2 Gastropub with Great Food and even Better Drinks … Great Vibes and a place for everyone 10/10 5* stars…
Great place to hang out for food and drinks. Caters more to a young crowd, but appeals to a wide range of age groups. The pub is right next to a parking structure, so finding a place to park is a breeze. Good selection of beers and mixed drinks.
Walked in after seeing the great outdoor setup, and we weren’t disappointed. Great atmosphere, nice owner, and good drinks. We didn’t get to try the food, but it looked good. Definitely a go to spot when in Pasadena.
The best fish n chips I've had in a long time! Tender, moist, with a light, crispy batter. Reasonably-priced, too! We also had a massive chili-cheese burger that needed a knife and fork to eat.
Great food and awesome vibe! Must go!
First visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. It seemed like a dive bar, so my expectations lowered a bit. For food and drink orders you make those at the bar. This is where the experience ramps up. The bartender was very helpful in choosing one of the beers, even allowing a comparison taste. Decent menu options and the cheeseburger is good. Fun, low-key atmosphere, good vibes. They have a couple of TVs, outdoor seating, and a sand shuffleboard table. Prices are typical, some beers are around $8 or so. This is a place to return to.

My friend and I were looking for a cafe to do some work, but all of them were jam packed. When we saw King's Gastropub, we had this revolutionary thought: "Why not do some work over some beers?"The Chiefs and the Bengals were playing this day so it was relatively crowded, but we managed to find a table in the outdoor area. My friend got a domestic ale, but I decided to be adventurous and tried the Hard Grapefruit Kombucha. I had never tried a hard kombucha before, but to my surprise, it was actually pretty delicious. It should've had 4.5% ABV but it tasted like a non-alcoholic grapefruit kombucha. I would definitely recommend this to all my fellow lightweights or to anyone looking for a light drink.Although it felt like the bartenders were understaffed, all of the staff was very friendly and were quick to clean up any empty cups or plates.Technically, there was wifi, but it was unusable because it was extremely spotty. We ended up using our phone hotspots the whole time.Good vibes, good drinks, and good food. What more can you ask for out of a gastropub?
The food and beer were good. Extensive beer selection. Typical pub grub. Nice atmosphere and a great location. Pricing isn’t cheap but not unreasonable.
Went here to have something to eat with a friend. Really liked the atmosphere and the music of the place. Was told by the person drinking that the beers ? there are really good.Enjoyed the chips and guacamole ?. The tortilla chips were homemade as was the dip. They also have Cranberry Juice, which is what I drink now that I don't ? drink (no I'm not on my period- reference The Departed).Would definitely come here again.
