Not a bad place to dine at.For the most part, their food is delicious. However, the ramen is horrendous and flavorless... I was highly disappointed. The tempura rolls were amazing as well as the Sesame chicken. The hibachi rice was pretty good although for the price, there should be more meat. the jumbo fried shrimp was whatever.
Well, I’ve been a customer for more than 9+ years! Today, April 9th, 2022, I drove from Laguna Niguel to taste my favorite sushi place which WAS Kabuki! I arrived at 9:13pm knowing they are open until 9:30pm.They rejected me to seat anywhere, at the bar or at the table. I had disbelief about that. After asking them please I drove 1:20 minutes to get here. At the front they said NO! We are not able to accommodate you! WHY? Kabuki? Why? Very disappointed with the staff and management forcing their employees to do that!!!
Ordered the garlic beef yaki. The meat was medium rare when we ask for well done, on top of that the meat was so chewy we had to send it back. We asked for it to be taken out of the bill since we only ate less that 10% of the meat. We did not want another plate just for it to be taken out. Well the "manager" was only able to take out half of the meal. I though that was stupidIn our experience here today we only liked the miso soup
We loved the fresh chirashi sushi, rainbow and spider rolls! The spicy seafood udon is savory delicious. Most of all, I appreciate the efficient service!
Has my absolute favorite sushi roll and a real interesting spin on things. I have to dock a star though for the ramen. When I tried it, it really had no flavor and I thought maybe it was just me. Fast forward months later I found out my family complained about the exact same thing, that dish really just has a lot of stuff in it yet none of the taste.

One of the BEST Japanese/sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to! Great service, great food, and amazing presentation! I’ve never really ‘liked’ Japanese food - but this, this was amazing! (Waitress: Kaytlin) (The best was the, Tempura Fried Ice Cream!) ☺️
Ordered delivery and the it was more than an hour late even an estimated wait time of 1.5 hrs for a total of 2.5 hours since we placed our order to delivery. If you like your food cold and wilted, order from here. Shame because we’ve ordered in the past and it’s just not the same anymore.
Wasabi and ginger served after we finish sushi. I also ordered Spicy beef Roman which takes super long time to serve.
Not very authentic. The rainbow roll didn’t seem all that fresh. The sashimi was mushy. The teriyaki beef was asked to be cooked medium well, but it was burnt. Overall, the food was mediocre.
