Given the freshness of the bread, deli cuts, and produce, paired with the warming kindness of the family running the business, I would value their subs between $80-$120.Luckily for us, they’re really between $10-$14.As the greater LA area continues to suffer from lack of quality sandwich places (compared to NY), you can rest assured knowing this place is doing their part to provide one of the greatest Italian sub shops around.

I called to place a pick up order for the Sal Tessio veggie sandwich with olive spread. It was ready in 10 minutes just like they said it would be. And then when I got there, I spied a walnut filled treat - bonus! The sandwich, which I’ve gotten a few times now, is absolutely fresh and delicious, a perfect savory blend and - no regrets, the walnut treat was just right, not too sweet, satisfyingly flaky and crumbly. One of my go-to work lunch stops.

First since my office relocated, I have searched for a near by Italian deli, and I think this is going to be the spot. True it's more of a coffee shop that sells sandwiches, but I walked in and behind the counter was a pile of fresh baked Italian rolls....very promising to say the least. They have a very good variety, and the product is outstanding, everything was fresh and delicious and exceeded my expectations. I had a basic turkey sandwich, but if a deli can do basic well, they can usually make everything else just as good if not better. They are very friendly and accommodating, and if you want top notch coffee and a pastry, they are also very high quality. I will be back at least once a month.

We stopped for a cup of coffee; however, the sweet lady behind the counter suggested a breakfast sandwich. We had an egg, sausage, and provolone cheese sandwich. It was large enough to share and was priced reasonably. We loved the godfather theme and atmosphere. It was cozy. The coffee was excellent! The mints attached to the cups were a nice touch. We were disappointed that we were unable to return for lunch but I would recommend stopping by for a great sandwich.

Very good Italian sandwich cafe that somehow has survived the pandemic. We need to support these family operated businesses. I've enjoyed every sandwich and salad I've tried!

Great sandwiches with delicious bread. Always a good go-to for a quality sammich

Very average. Quaint little Italian sandwich shop with about 20 some sandwiches with funny names. I don't think there's a full kitchen on premises because I'll tell you why. I waited 20 minutes for my 2 sandwiches, where I didn't make any special requests. In the restaurant ahead of me were 4 other people, each with single sandwich orders. During this time there were no take out orders or online orders (not even sure if this was available). So I did spend quite a bit of my lunch break twiddling my thumbs for my order to come out. I ordered a chicken parm sub, and a meatball sub. My chicken parm had lettuce and tomato in it, which I thought was weird. It was also comprised of chicken cold cuts instead of a breaded filet. Look at my pics. While the sandwich actually tasted good, it just wasn't what I was expecting. Also, the bread is way too soft, with a very thin and soft crust. Very similar to a toasted Subway brand Italian roll. This isn't a hearty and doughy Italian bread like in a real Italian deli. The other sandwich was a meatball sub. This was good as well, but they melted the cheese on top of the bread, so it was hard to hold and eat. All in all, the food was actually quite tasty. They have bottled sodas, self service water, and clean tables and chairs on inside and outside. My subs were around $11-13 each and they were filling, but a bit expensive. Probably won't repeat though. It's worth a try.
