Great Pasadena classic always a good experience. Will go again in a few days.
We went for an early dinner and at the time it wasnât too crowded, so it was nice.
Iâve been coming to The Green Street Restaurant for years. I love this place! The Diane Salad, zucchini bread, and Passion Fruit Iced Tea are my absolute favorites! Iâve even served them at baby showers and teas. The staff is lovely and the owner sends out great emails! Go and see for yourselves!
Salads were overdressed. Service was good.
Because it was a beautiful evening there was a short wait for an outside table (no wait inside). We chose to wait at the bar which offered excellent choices. The grilled seafood was very good and I particularly enjoyed the vegetable accompaniment. The service was attentive, but not intrusive.
Have been coming here since high school (15 years ago). The food has really suffered the last 3 times I came â we werenât asked how we wanted our burger cooked (came out over cooked and blackened on the outside), and crispy noodles in our Diane salad were not fried in some parts resulting in feeling like we bit into bone. Lots of the noodles were like this. This compared to last time when our orange juice had gone bad (fermented taste) Our waiter, Joseph D, was very hospitable and professional. Since they seemed understaffed, we didnât bother our waiter with fixing the order or anything. We would still come back for the close proximity, but do not have high expectations for the food. We think this is a result of operations changing during COVID.
Wonderful place to enjoy great food and wonderful service. We had the option of eating outside or in and we chose outside which was comfortable under large umbrellas. Food was delicious especially their Diane salad. Their portions are generous and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
It was my 1st time to this restaurant. My friend had heard of it and I was happy to discover that I could make reservations on OpenTable. I made reservations for 2 and requested to be seated on the patio on a Sunday afternoon. The patio was a large area with lots of tables, patio covers and umbrellas. We got to the restaurant a little early and were seated immediately at a table for 2. After we were served our salads, it got a little too sunny for my friend. I mentioned it to our waiter and he said that when another table was available we could move. A few minutes later, the hostess cleared a nearby table under the patio covering and we moved our salads and drinks to the shaded table. We were really pleased with the staff of the restaurant in helping us move to a shady table. We both ordered the Diane salads (lunch size) with dressing on the side and we were surprised at the huge salad. We both ate about 1/2 of our salads and the waiter later brought "to go" containers & extra salad dressing so we could take home our respective salads. I tossed my left-over salad with some dressing the next day & it was still delicious. My friend and I both decided that the Green Street Restaurant is our "go to place" to meet for lunch periodically. The food was delicious and the service was fabulous.
We went specifically for the Dianne salad. It was amazing. Even sharing the regular portion was too much to share for 2 people. The chips with polano queso dip was so delicious.
I've been to this restaurant a number of times, but this was my first lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was incredible.
