We brought our mother here for her birthday. Loved it. They just added a brunch menu and tried the birria tacos super delicious. Salmon dish was scrumptious. Lots of vegan options. I've never had pancakes like the ones served here they were so good. Asparagus appetizer with almonds very good. Check it out everything we tried so good and they have many more items to choose from. Parking in the back. Gets busy because food is so good. Customer service the best so far. Waitress super nice and attentive to our needs with a smile. Manager would come around to ensure everything was up to par. Loved it!

Always love coming to Granville when I feel like treating myself. My go too meal coursing is to start off with the grilled cheese cheese dipper, the grilled salmon, rainbow trout and the tipsy lemonade or Moscow mule. Don't get the baked half chicken though, it was kinda dry. Never got it again.Service seems fairly quick and everything is coursed accordingly. For one appetizer, 2 main course fish meals, 2 cocktails and tip totals around $100.

LOVELY MEAL AND PATIO- we sat on the roof deck for dinner last week. Our server was so polite and helpful. The food was delicious. We ordered the brussel sprouts, tomato soup, tuna, the half chicken, the trout, and the flourless chocolate cake. Would definitely go back again!

I was driving by Lake avenue and saw this on the way, so I took my grandmother to the spot. When you walk in, the bar to the right is pretty massive. The overall indoor decor is very stylish and well put together.I started off with their Coffee and was descently good with a side of cream and a sprinkle of raw sugar. It had the perfect temperature and balanced flavor. For appetizers I ordered the brussels sprouts(beware they added raisins but it actually made it taste better and I’m not a fan of raisins in general) & grilled asparagus. The brussels sprouts were delicious and a great starter. The asparagus tasted good for a basic side. Now the Rainbow Trout was probably one of the best fish entree’s I’ve had in a while. It was kind of like a Brazino that I’ve tasted at another spot. The seasoning was just right and it was cooked perfectly. It did have small little bones so beware but overall it was an excellent dish I recommend. My grandmother ordered the Strawberry Shortcake & it was pretty good to finish off our lunch. Not too sweet but it felt more like a biscuit instead of a cake. Our server was also excellent, attentive and made the dining experience wonderful. There’s a rooftop spot with a bar but it was closed but I think the 3rd floor would be an excellent brunch spot. I’ll definitely be back.

I was just going to grab some Chipotle on my way out of Pasadena, a reaction to four days of authentic international foods I guess, but parking was a hassle and on my longish walk from the car I saw a beautiful restaurant called Granville with its giant windows folded open to the street. I decided it would be more interesting than inauthentic Mexican food so I went in and sat at the bar. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with a bowl of tomato bisque. It was made with petit basque, Parmesan, and Gruyère cheese with a load of caramelized onions and some kind of mustard. I can’t figure out what kind of bread it was, I’m going to ask someone before I go. It was the best bread. The sandwich came in four corners and the tomato bisque was dark and thick. Eating that sandwich is the happiest I’ve been since 2018. It is 75 degrees outside and everyone is relaxed and the food is so good. Two women sat across the bar from me, both with healthy, no makeup looks. They were having a quiet conversation and when the manager came with their wine their faces lit up. That’s how I felt about my sandwich. I am driving to San Diego in a few minutes, but I don’t know why everyone doesn’t just live in Pasadena and eat most of their meals at Granville. Postscript: The manager says it is their own homemade bread. The women got their salads boxed up and walked off down the street. They still seemed very pleased as they left.

If you’re looking for a casual lunch this place is way too overpriced. If it’s a fancy occasion, it’s pretty fun and nice ambience. The vegan/vegetarian sandwiches were slightly below average. The sweet potato fries are bomb. AVOID THE REGULAR FRIES, ew. They’re tasteless. The house made chips were harder than cardboard, it’d try other sides instead… If I were here again, I’d avoid the sandwiches and would try the pasta or burger… Overall, overpriced and not tasty.

Went for our Anniversary. Wife and I hadn’t been out for ??since Feb ‘21, pregnancy ?Anyway, this place is fine. Had small bites and drinks. We took our daughter with us. 6 months. Outdoor seating worked and the staff was accommodating.

Yes for Happy Hour!If you can navigate your way through a parking lot sign klusterfuk, this place is actually quite nice. Lol. See photos.Parking: 2 lots. Pay attention to which one you park in behind the building. In one lot, the 1st 1.5 hours is free. And Free After 7pm if you can find a space.2nd lot is paid parking, credit card & parking space # situation. The bar downstairs is good. One gripe is that the bar is up against the wall. Kind of leaves little room or mingling between the bar itself, and the middle row of community tables. To Management: if you ever do a remodel, I think you should make the bar downstairs in the center of the room, and then let people congregate around it.The bar upstairs on the roof is where you really want to be. Huge open space, open outdoor patio kind of vibe. It's mostly tables, but lots of Standing Room to mingle.Food: The uptown mac n cheese is THE best in all of LA. The happy hour special is half the size of a regular... yet still enough for 4 people. Lol. The regual size is HUGE!

Great Good and Service!! ????

We waited in line before the restaurant open in order to get a table on its rooftop terrace, which was fun and provided a great view of the corner of Lake and Del Mar in Pasadena. Food is fresh and good, but the service was slow and the server seemed hurried and uninterested in offering any special food or drink to us. I think she just wanted us out of there because they were quite busy. Great location, but will not recommend it.
