If you are a tea drinker, this is a place to come because their teas are spectacular! We had breakfast here,. The food came out quickly and was very tasty and plentiful. The drinks had to be tracked down. I’m going to cut him some slack because it was very busy and every place is short of staff right now. They have numerous coffee drinks, an amazing array of desserts and a wide ranging menu.

They are VERY busy, most of the time. Unfortunately this means that they makes mistakes on orders. Twice this week I didn't get exactly what I ordered. In addition, the food I received looked NOTHING like the photos on-line or on the menu. One example was the RANCHO BURRITO. It looked good on my phone, but I received it, it was a very small greasy blob of - I think chili inside? - one hard-boiled egg, a small slice of avocado and not much else in some sort of unknown tortilla (I had ordered "flour"). I was not happy. Another example was a salad with the wrong dressing. AND, they are not cheap - I don't like spending $50-$60 on a breakfast for 2 - especially when the food is just "ok". Years ago it was pretty good, now I think I won't be going back again.

I like their food and selection of baked goods and coffee. They have delicious pastries and cookies. On this visit, the service was ok but the lady who took my order wasn’t so friendly. I ordered coffee and asked for soya milk in the coffee. She was going to charge me for a cup of soya milk which was almost $3. I told her I wanted it in the coffee so why is there a charge for it. She said they charge for it but won’t charge this time. I don’t understand for a chain, they wouldn’t offer soya milk as an alternative instead of milk. That was disappointing. It was Saturday night about 930 and it was very busy. It took a while to get our order…15 mins but it was understandable because it was packed. I gave it a 3 rating because of the soya milk issue. I like their food and always stop by when I’m in town.

Amazing Breakfast Choices. Coffee was very good and service was quick despite their CC machine issue

This is a very good place to come and have a healthy meal. Always good no matter what you order yo will be satisfied.

Huge coffee. Too big. Salads are tasty. Healthy selections. Outside dining and very trendy. Dogs OK.

Always went there in the early morning and early evening. Love their outdoor dining. Their Divine Chai Latte is yum, not too sweet with honey. We enjoyed their pastry with some fruits. The puff pastry is delicious.

Great coffee, good food, terrible take out service. Waited twenty minutes outside in the sun as instructed, nothing showed up, finally had to go find my own food.

Such an adorable location! I am a huge fan of Urth Caffes, but I really dislike making the drive to Santa Monica. This location is by far the most convenient when it comes to seating, parking, and being able to comfortably hang out. Parking is either street parking for an hour, a parking lot for $6 for the day, or a smaller lot shared with the Pasadena Playhouse for $1.50 an hour. Parking is ample, as people are constantly coming and going. There is indoor seating for the colder days, outside seating which is much more beautiful, and this little part of sidewalk seating that has been converted into a semi-outdoor/ semi-indoor spot. I opted for an indoor spot by the fireplace this time, with the best view for people watching. I try to order something different each time I visit, and I have never been disappointed. This time called for a delicious egg white panini. The panini comes with a warm tomato sauce- not tomato soup- to dip the panini. It was really delicious, but not too filling. I wouldn’t recommend it as an only meal. I asked the manager to give me his favorite drink and I was not disappointed. A honey latte with dolce, 1/2 sweetened. Oh my god- best choice! Always trust a worker. The berry tart is a must have. Honestly, if you don’t have one, you are majorly missing out. It’s sweet, but not too sweet. The custard doesn’t have that weird egg like taste other places have. And the berries are fresh- not frozen, not wrinkly, and no syrup preserving them. And that crust is something to fight over. I had a great time, and I will definitely make the 1.5 hour drive out to the location again. Want to see my other reviews? Follow me on Instagram @dining_with_davi

French style breakfast with either a baggette or croissant with cheese and jam. Reasonable price. Coffee and cappuccinos are good. I prefer the regular cappuccino as opposed to the Italian blend.
