Hands down, one of the greatest Mediterranean restaurants in East Pasadena, and the entire City of Pasadena in general. The quality of food is extraordinary, and the owner and staff take their time to cook all food from scratch to visual and flavor perfection. Come to think of it, I have never had a bad plate since I started coming here in 2017 (over the past 5 years). In addition, the customer service here is exceptional. The owner and his staff treat their customers with the highest level of courtesy and respect; practically like family. I’m so glad this restaurant continues to be in business and thrive. Famous Shish Kabob will always have my business!

The food was delicious here and trust me I know kabobs. Reasonably priced especially with current inflation. Great friendly owners, service and a very clean and trendy atmosphere. Great job, beef kabob was very tasty, tender and juicy the way it should be. We enjoyed it, thank you.

Friendly staff and nice food. We ordered the beef Kabob and burger and the meet was very fresh.

stopped by this hidden gem as I was walking in my neighborhood and I have to say, the food was incredible. Fresh, high quality meat and super tasty. I was so happy to find this so close to home! Will definitely be back.

I usually don't leave reviews, unless I'm super pleased with a service or product, and I was very pleased with the food and service I received from famous shish kabob. I'm not a fan of  Middle Eastern food unlike my husband ( Jeff). He is a regular customer at FSK, he convinced me to go with him and try the food.I have to say that I loved it. We got a combo plate, and falafal plate. Yummmyyy and very tasteful. In addition, the Restaurant is run  by  two brothers. Matt and Mike.  They are sweet, friendly  and very polite.  Their attitude makes you feel comfortable. The restaurant is a cozy place.Thank you Jeff  for taking me there. I'll go back with you again!

Food was delicious. Should’ve ordered more salad tho. If you order the family portion for 4 get more salad.

First of all, they are really lovely. Matt was very kind and I had a good conversation with him. He even added some tadig to boot. So, I say this begrudgingly, but the food was average at best.I typically use Hatam in Anaheim as the standard for Persian food in Socal (yes, I've heard there are better places, but I eat zabiha, so...), and this was well below what is offered there, in flavor, tenderness, portions, etc.So, while the food isn't the best, the service is very good. I'd probably visit the place again, if I happened to be in the area, but would I make a trip here specifically for the food? I can't say for sure that I would.

I recently catered an event with Famous Shish Kabobs and it couldn't have gone any better. The food was delivered on time, hot and fresh. It was DELICIOUS! The rice and the kabob assortment were a huge hit. The best part was the service. I booked them through a catering site that wasn't very descriptive, so I called to get additional information. Mr. Ghookas answered every question that I could think of and even called twice to follow up after the event had concluded. The price may seem a bit high, but the quality of the food and their professionalism make them a bargain in my book. I'll go out of my way to use their services again.

Don’t miss this place, it’s delightful! I got the chicken louleh kabob and it was perfectly cooked, tender, and delicious. Thank you!!!
