Really authentic peruvian food with one of the best arroz chaufas I have ever had in the United States. Having traveled Peru, this is one of the better if not the best examples of Peruvian food.

It's a small Peruvian restaurant that offers dine-in and carry-out. Although it's a small restaurant, there's plenty of parking space and patio space with a couple of tables outside (with shade) to enjoy a meal under the sun. Regarding staff service, it's not the worst but it's also not the greatest. They will help you out in anyway they can if you ask, otherwise it's more of a "pay, wait, here's your lunch, then leave" type of experience. Now, their selection of food is not limited to just chicken but also, steak, shrimp and tofu. So there's definitely an option for everyone. However, for the new comers, I would recommend the 1/4 or 1/2 chicken with 2 sides which include your choice of, potato fries, yuca fries, rice, beans, plantains or a salad. For those that are wanting to step up their game, go for their Lomo saltado (which is a must try at some point since it's without a doubt one of their top items), bistec a la pobre or tallarin verde con pollo a la brasa. Regardless of the meal, make sure to splash some of their aji sauce (green salsa) to give it a flavorful and spicy kick.

Make sure you get the avocado sauce. It does the heavy lifting. Without it everything is bland. Giving it two stars because of the sauce. Otherwise it would be no stars.

In my opinion Chicken looked old and tasted pretty bad. It was gross. The ceviche was good. I give it a 5 out of 10. The papa huancahina was tasteless and cold. I will not go back. It's too bad because it's nearby. I really don't understand how it got a great review. Iam very disappointed by the lack of care in the food preparation. ?

We ordered delivery they cancel our order due a out of stock drink, they never call to let us know, my coworker had to call to check what happened, she picked up the food, my chicken was raw and found a piece of something that look to be a metal scrubber. Disappointed of local business :(

I thought I wasn't one for Peruvian food since I had 2 other tasteless experiences until NOW!!!?WOW... The flavors and smells are so delicious ?I can not wait to go back and keep on going!?

Food was excellent. Suggest calling ahead as they can sometimes run out of their whole chickens. The beans are the absolute best! Service was exceptional as well. Highly recommend.

The Lomo Saltado wasn't very good. They told me 30 minutes and I was there in 20. They told me it wasn't ready but by the time I got it the French fries were soggy and cold... I wouldn't recommend this place. Specially since it was only take out and it was overpriced. Hardly any meat in the dish ?

Our favorite place for Peruvian food in Pasadena. They have a large, clean and lovely patio dining place that is perfect for family with children. Plenty of parking too.
