Always saw this place and have been wanting to give it a try so went to the one on Colorado in Pasadena and the food was good. I ordered the pulled pork plate and I was expecting the meat to be nice and warm but unfortunately it was more to the cold side. Other than that the potato salad was good and the barbecue beans were good. I guess I was expecting too much from those place.
This place was once jamming! I don’t know what happened. New management or what? Potato casserole was just horrible straight bland. The brisket was dry, never was before. The ribs still had that great flavor and the kielbasa. The bread was hard, It was nice and moist before. Insult to injury they forgot to give me my onions and pickles smh. They charge extra for those, didn’t get the ones that came with my meal. Then on my next visit. They open about 11am I think. Get there at 11:45am server states ribs won’t be ready for another 1hr. I’m like wth? Gotta find me another Dickies.
The Ribs are delicious service is decent
We ordered the largest variety assortment of meats and sides so we were able to sample a little bit of almost everything. The food was good. We will go back again. Definitely a decent option if you're craving barbecue and don't have the time to do it yourself.
My delivery order came without ANY barbeque sauce although I paid for extra sauce. The two-meat plate was skimpy, and the turkey was processed mean, not real turkey with texture. The baked beans came from a can and the cole slaw portion was very small -- did not fill the entire cup. I asked for bread and did not get it. All in all this was a disappointing ripoff. The only thing I can say positive is that the delivery was on time.
The cashier was very rude. Told me policy was to show ID! Would not give me order unless I showed my ID. Thats illegal! Was not greeted and it felt very hostile. There are many other places to eat. If you want better service, BBQ and not get harassed go buy sonewhere else! Change your corrupt polices fast!
Ordered a 3 Meat Plate $23.95 for takeout and it was just ok. The quality here has noticeably slipped since the pandemic and portions were smaller than I was expecting. The brisket was dry and not tender and the other two meats were just average. The positive was that my two sides and corn muffin were good. Free parking in lot.

Food very good, tasty as always.However they do not honor the deals you are bombarded with in your app on your phone.
Second time we order ribs to go and wings , they forgot to put the sauce for the ribs and the first time we got really tiny wings but we decide to give it a second try , small wings ever smaller that a teaspoon. Really disappointed. Just order the bread is good.
