Louisiana Style chicken sandwich was one the best I've tried. Breast meat was so juicy and tender, I had to ask if it wasn't really thigh meat. They have multiple style sandwiches with different levels if hot for each. They have out door seating, it's very clean, and the owner was very friendly. Couple that sandwich with a Dad's rootbeer and your taste buds will be dancing with joy.

Tiny Pasadena storefront, serving spectacular chicken sandwiches and fries! They have a wide selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. The chicken sandwich was seasoned perfectly, was moist and juicy, and cooked to perfection. The fries were crispy and perfectly salted, and they have a great selection of salads as well. I would definitely come back here.
My chicken sandwich was really good. I'm giving a 4 star rating for the service. The cashier really didn't know the menu, and wasn't really any help. Plus, I hate ordering off a touch screen. Only outdoor seating.
Today was my first visit to this place. I had the regular Big Daddy chicken sandwich and regular fries with blue cheese dipping sauce. It was delicious. I will go back again soon.
Daddy’s is consistently great, some of the best fried chicken sandwiches around. High quality meats and sauces, and if you get the hottest option, holy smokes is it hot - and not just hot to be hot, but it also tastes so good you’ll want to suffer through all the pain to finish it!
Great food, my experience at Daddy’s Chicken Shack was excellent. I ordered a Big Daddy Sandwich for $13 plus $5 for an extra chicken patty on the sandwich I think, sweet potato fries, and a side of blue cheese, a side of sour cream, and a side of ranch. I also ordered this great tasting grape soda, it was sweet so, I’d say it’s a sharing half and half soda. The chicken is buttermilk chicken, so it was moist and tasty. It was deep fried but didn’t give me heartburn or indigestion, it was great with the Napa slaw in the sandwich and matching tasting great bun. The sweet potato fries were deep fried butt not too greasy, and have a good flavor to the sweet potato. All of the ingredients this restaurant used were really good quality. The service every time I go here, a lot of times, has always been great, they must do some kind of little Customer Seevice talk strategy amongst the Staff. The food sometimes might take a while to prepare because it’s kind of detailed.
I decided to try just about everything on the menu. I can honestly say I was impressed. The nuggets were still hot and crispy after 10 minutes in the car. The sweet potato fries while a bit greasy had amazing flavor! And the sliders are the way to go if you're indecisive like I am. If you're brave go with medium heat and you'll be fine..lol but don't worry if you just want good old fried chicken!

Insanely good popcorn chicken and chicken sandwich! The chicken is so crispy and fresh. I’ve been hunting through LA for the best fried chicken, so far this is the best I’ve had. Makes some of the popular places seem just “ok”.Service is very friendly and quick for the quality of the food. A great hole in the wall with outdoor seating and a small storefront for ordering (hence the name, as close to a shack without being one). Sauces taste home made, honey mustard and ranch were perfect.
