OMG!! I’m so glad I pulled the trigger & decided to order from this place today. From the person who politely & accurately took my phone order, to the the taste of the food…everything was FANTASTIC! Everyone in my family ordered something different so we were able to sample many different things & it was all delicious!!I am such a stickler for stellar safety practices, great customer service & quality. This place has hit the mark on all levels & will now be our new fast food spot.I’ll be sure to post pics next time around…we jumped in relatively quick & by the time I tasted everything, the pictures wouldn’t do the food much justice because there was nothing left. LolThat chocolate banana milkshake though. ?
I called today and ordered a ham and cheese grilled sandwich combo I paid a little over 10 bucks I got home only cheese. I called and ask for a manager he told me I would need to drive all the way back and hand them back the sandwich so they can make me another one! Wth ? I asked him can I just come another day and have my order compensated he said no those are the rules of the restaurant. Why would I pay $10 for a grilled cheese sandwich. Horrible customer service.
Had the bacon avocado cheeseburger and roast beef grinder. Ate both by the trail to Millard falls. Tasted fresh and not too greasy. Was delicious too

Connal's man!!! This is what my wife and I excitedly say to each other when we eat sandwiches from this amazing place. It's a "food joy" experience every time. I'm on a personal mission to try almost everything on its huge menu. It's our local favorite sandwich shop in North Pasadena. The name on the sign is Sandwiches by Connal but the locals just call it Connal's. My favorite is the pastrami dip. The original combo grinder is an awesome cold sub option. If you are in the mood, the chili cheeseburger will satisfy your craving. The photo is of the Italian beef dip. It's good but be warned, the giardiniera is spicy. A bit too hot for me, but just fine if you enjoy hot spice. My wife helped me finish it and really enjoyed it.The subs are about 7-8 inches long and 4 inches tall. If you have a smaller appetite you can get two meals out of a sandwich and fries. The fries are like what some people say about pizza, they are good because they are fries. If you're not picky you will enjoy them. It's inexpensive and really satisfying comfort food. At peak times there is almost always a line for the ordering window, but the line moves pretty quickly. You also have the option to call in your order and go pick it up. Connal's has been around for generations and a lot of locals have been going there since they were kids. So, do yourself a favor and give this place a try soon.
We finally found the secret menu!!! Ask Mike to point you towards the rabbit hole. Easily the safest establishment I have ever been to. Oh yeah, food is pretty good too =)
Connal's has some of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. Great ingredients, tight wraps, and definitely under rated! My ex-wife worked here as a teenager and has fond memories of the location. She brings us here whenever we visit the area.
Hellloooooo. Flavors brought me back to Spain! The asparagus dish was delicious! There were a few more asparagus than what's in the picture but we couldn't wait and started munching away. Get it, try it!Paella was pretty solid, I've had seafood paella at other spanish restaurants, to me, the paella here are definitely on the delicious side, get it! Try it.
Perfect, lowkey place to bring close friends out to drink and have a chat. Great selection of soju and plates, food was delicious. Will be coming here very often in the future. Service was super kind.
TURKEY GRINDERS. These people do it SO right. Shredded crisp lettuce, soft and fresh bread, good tasting turkey (it tastes like real turkey, not the slimy salty slices of deli meat you usually get in a sandwich)... and more. I normally don't even like Italian dressing on my sandwiches, but whatever kind they use is so delicious, herby, and compliments the rest of the sandwich without taking over.I have had a French dip here which is not that special, I will admit, but the grinders are the best sandwiches and they even rival Cricca's on Topanga, and Italia Deli on Kanan (that should show you how far and wide I search for a good sandwich). You must try one. Pack some extra napkins on your picnic too, cause this sandwich is stuffed huge!
