Small super cute ice cream shop. Has plenty of flavors all of them are homemade ice cream it's super creamy. I got the salted caramel it was amazing. The single scoop was $5 but it was worth it.Only downside is there's no parking so try not to go during a busy time we went late at night and had no issues parking.
By far my new favorite ice cream spot! They have 3 types of non dairy options. I picked orange vanilla sherbert. I recommend 2 scoops. I only ordered 1 scoop but will not be making that mistake again...They also can make you icreamcream sandwiches on the spot or you can take home pre-made and individually wrapped ice cream sandwiches or prepackaged pints. Did I mention there containers of chocolate or chocolate chip cookies for making your own icream sandwiches at home. ?FYI this is a contact free payment location. They also have more choices of ice cream but I didn't pay attention. It was a long list though and they make them in house which is why they are extra amazing and deserving all the ❤ love.
I think my favorite is the brown sugar vanilla bean - a classic and simple flavor, but so delicious! I also really loved the earl grey flavor as well.
After we great meal at LeRoy's my wife and I and my sister in law and her daughter went to get some ice cream at Carmela ice cream in Pasadena. Our niece say they have great ice and they make it small batches. We arrive at place small but you can smell the waffle cones made fresh daily. You can also get sample of the flavors they have there. My wife try the fresh mint with cocao nibs she enjoy and she order it. Then I taste the Lavander honey I love the flavor of the lavander and honey combine together with a refreshing taste.
I've been coming to get ice cream for like 7 years or longer. The quality has drastically dropped. I had it last week for the first time after the pandemic started. I always get chocolate and salted caramel and they tasted like water. They used to be very creamy and so good. I feel like they make it diluted or something. There's great quality organic ice cream available at WF or any markets nowadays. I won't come back. Sad.
Ice cream is fairly good though pricey. Very fresh and creamy. The pumpkin spice was pretty tasty. I also tried brown butter sage, wasnt bad but not my taste/wouldn’t recommend. Their cookies are quite thin and crunchy, not bad but not amazing either.Staff was friendly and efficient.
Delicious Artisian Ice cream in a cozy family run institution. Free street parking only. Portions are on the small side for the price compared to Handels $6 Four Scoop sampler but staff is friendly and efficient.
Can't miss it from the outside, the sign is very noticable. Once you walk in you can small the vanilla bean and fresh handmade waffle cones. The menu was delicious with unique flavors like a lavender honey, salted caramel, lemon basil sorbet and brown sugar vanilla bean. The employees were super friendly and offered a small sample of a few flavors. Definitely a great spot for dessert
If you have to drive to get ice cream from Carmela's I'd say don't do it. I'm walking distance to this place so I tried it thinking it must be good cuz its always packed in front of the store. But they are packed cuz there's no where to sit and enjoy the ice cream. You actually have to take turns sitting on their one and only bench. Ice cream is ok. I have to say Employees are nice.In Pasadena I like Handel's Homemade Ice Cream more.
authentic real ice cream, made in house and love the unique flavors
