Tried this place for the first time. The fish taco was to die for. The salsas are delicious and flavorful.
Seems to be a popular lunch stop for locals. The dining area is small and seats maybe 14 people and could be kept cleaner. The burrito I had was a decent size and filled me up. The flavor and taste was okay but could of been better. It's a taco place, so I'll have to try the tacos next time I'm in the area at lunch time.
i live about half a block from this spot and never bothered trying it. well recently, I had a hankering for some Asada fries, and boy oh boy was I in for a treat!not only is their food great quality and tasting, but their prices are beyond reasonable (which is important these days because we all are going broke at the tank) and their portions are beyond generous. I consider myself a big eater, and I couldn't dare to finish the order of Asada fries.their protein tacos are delicious as well, and of course, their flagship, the fish tacos, are next level.don't waste precious time on other spots, give these folks a try and you won't regret it!
all the Baja Cali have no customer service. There is no fine print or exclusion stating that I can't order Special on Thursday and picking it up on Sunday. The fact that I am still paying for the orders and all. I would never return here or any other Baja Cali unless they take care of their customer. 2nd doesn't offer excellent customer service, and diversity. After calling customer service they couldn't even provide a printout exception or anything stating about the order. They need to retrain all the employees and management not just by expanding it faster. They are lacking and super rude that Baja Cali District Manager or Manager DO NOT do call back, very disappointing
The food is good but it doesn't seem like you get very much for what you pay. You don't even get some chips on the side. Also, the inside dining area is not very comfortable and super noisy.
So good. The meat and Birria tacos were best, but the fish and shrimp were good too. A lot of meat, home made sauces and kind staff. Thanks for a surprises along the road!
I ordered the fish and shrimp tacos. Both were good. The shrimp were jumbo shrimp and the fish taco had a nice big piece. I'm giving it 4 starts because the tacos lacked a bit more cabbage. It almost seemed like the tacos were made in a rush even though I had placed a phone order.
Their $1.29 fish taco Tuesday deal is hard to beat. Solid portions of fried fish, make sure to ask for their hot sauce and add some of their seasoned yellow peppers to your order (trust me, makes your meal that much better).Order online to avoid long wait times. Parking is limited to the residential area, located within a stone's throw from Carmela Ice Cream.
poor customer service a cashier this past Monday was giving back change in a rude manner smacking a dollar bill on hand and dropping the change from up high where it led to it landing out of the customer hand and having to let the customer pick it up for himself.
I ordered 2 fish tacos, 2 shrimp tacos, taco de papa and a surf and turf. The fish and shrimp tacos were cold small and expensive. The fish portions were extremely small. I literally got one shrimp per taco . Smh. The surf and turf had more rice than asada or shrimp. The potato taco was probably the best thing since it was hot plenty of topping but again small. Extremely disappointed with the outcome. I would recommend it unless its taco Tuesday. This tiny meal for a small man cost over 25$ with an horchata.
