I've been to this restaurant many times and I usually leave dissatisfied. Tonight was no exception. So, my review is not based on one bad night but a multiple of experiences. The best thing I can say about this restaurant is the wine selection and Brandon (manager, I think). He's great and always goes out of his way to make things right. Everything else falls very short, especially the food. Tonight, I had undoubtedly the worse pork chop I've ever ordered. Dry to the bone! Even though I asked to please not over cook. The last two times I've been there the protein portion has been about half what you'd expect for the price. Anyway, I'm not going to spend a bunch of time harping about this place. Not worth it!
Decor is cute but food was just so so. Pork chop is served quite rare, salad was not crispy and fresh, and portions overall were tiny. Two entrees and two appetizers were not enough for two people. Rather than order more, we decided to restaurant hop. Not sure if it’s shrinkflation or it’s always been this way.
great food and wine nice place to have a wonderful time.
I can't wait to go back! Don't know what took me so long. Cozy interior with the original brick walls exposed. Also outdoor patio with heaters. I wanted to try everything on the menu. Had the "Apple" starter. Apples three ways on top of a big slab of fresh Burrata cheese. Great bread. We both loved our mains. I have to also praise the knowledgeable servers, who know everything!
Menu and wine update regularly so there is always something tasty and new to try. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant has monthly special events as well.
I took one star off because I hate to see servers not to be in some kind of uniform. Even just jeans and a white shirt would be fine…. I don’t think it looks right at a higher end restaurant for the servers not to wear a uniform, even McDonald’s has their staff wear uniforms. The food is great, the service is great , the patio is great!
Always fabulous--great food, great atmosphere and, of course, great staff!
Always excellent food at Claud & Co. Bacchus’ Kitchen!
Terrific staff and innovative cuisine. Small local restaurant who worked hard to keep staff through the pandemic closures with delicious creative take out and who are keeping everyone safe by requiring proof of vaccination for indoor dining. Fresh creative food.
The shrimp Pad Thai was delicious, with lots of shrimp. The short ribs had a great flavor but were burnt. Spring rolls and salad were great. Banana dessert had a very neutral flavor. The atmosphere on the patio was lovely. The waitresses were very attentive, but too casually dressed. The prices were a bit high.
