Wow. Such a great experience. We sat outside in their very spacious outdoor covered seating and it was a beautiful night with plenty of heaters if you get cold. The food was amazing. Had some oysters to start and my uncle had the potato leek soup.Multiple family members got the Chilean sea bass which l tried and it was phenomenal. I had their Wagyu sampler which had a total of 10oz if steak including 4oz of American Wagyu and 2oz of A5 Japanese Wagyu. This was my first time trying the Japanese Wagyu and it was absolutely amazing. Unlike any other steak I've had before. Highly recommend if youve never had it before. We had various sides (all must be ordered a la carte) including brocollini, mashed potatoes, and the mushrooms and they were all perfectly cooked.Cocktails were very good though the martinis werent the best we've had. Great wine selection as well.Service was awesome. Highly recommend over any of the chain steakhouses like Flemming or Ruth Chris. They also gave us a complimentary Apple pie for my graduation!

Was looking forward to this highly recommended upscale chop house. If you go, recommend insisting on inside seating;. The outside seating is under a huge tent and lacks any ambiance and frankly does a severe disservice to the entire dining experience. Would not do that again. Service was professional and attentive. Ordered a ribeye - cooked to perfection. Sides of spinach were equally well prepared. Reasonable wine list for wine by the glass - could be a tad more extensive. Convenient valet parking. Fine dining is an experience. The management at Arroyo needs to invest in some more appropriate/inviting outside seating.

Probably the best porterhouse steak I have had in a very long time.

Excellent food always, great service

The two most popular steakhouses mentioned to me in the Pasadena area are Alexander’s and Arroyo Chop House. I’ve dined @ Alexander’s a few times so tonight I got the chance to compare ACH to Alexander’s to see which is my favorite. Parking @ Alexander’s is easier because they have an underground lot next door. I was able to find street parking tonight but the best option usually for ACH will be valet. I would say I like the design of ACH more as it’s closer to a classy California style whereas Alexander’s looks like a standard steakhouse. Our server tonight was polite but when we sat down she asked “would you like bread for the table? We have some garlic bread and sourdough, but most people get a mix of both.” So we said “sure that sounds nice” and then when we got the bill there was a $9 charge for bread.. I still paid for it but didn’t really consent to ordering it as I had no idea it was for a charge, so I did not enjoy that part of the meal.I started off with the Prime Chili as I don’t eat Chili often, but being in a steakhouse with premium meat products and in a city that is obsessed with chili I felt it was a good call. It really was tasty with steak chunks in it. For my entree I chose the Filet Mignon and it was pretty good with a smokey type flavor, but it was a bit under cooked and the kitchen had cut into it a few times so it came out ugly; so I would have to say it was not as good as Alexander’s steak, which does not have a smokey flavor (my preference. Char flavor is nice, but different from smokey flavor). For our dessert we chose the Grand Marnier Soufflé and being my favorite dish to order for dessert I expected to like this and really did; it was a great end to the meal and large in size.Overall a really nice dinner although I do like the steak @ Alexander’s slightly more I enjoyed my experience tonight at Arroyo, aside from the bread incident, and would come back in the future. Due to the steak being undercooked, and the up charge with the bread, I have to give this place a 4/5 because I did not encounter any of those problems at Alexander’s any of the other times I dined there.

Everything was great: the food and the service. We ordered the porterhouse for two and it was delicious, melt in your mouth, goodness. The lobster mashed potatoes and the broccolini was well seasoned and paired well with our porterhouse. Definitely need to order a negroni and the Manhattan. You must complete your dinner with a soufflé. All in all, dinner was amazing!

This is just an opinion. Everyone has different experiences.. so having said that, my wife had the flight of steak. That was amazing. I had the chicken, by far thee best chicken I have ever had.Now the waitstaff, Ashley from New York, the most amazing. Please stop in and try it..

Expensive but totally worth it. Superb food, limited, but excellent selection of drinks, amazing crew. Love the lamb chops (it's a special so you need to ask for it). Only three beers, but the Belgian white is my favorite so I'm completly satisfied. Valet parking.

Food and Service are top-notch... Steak was cooked perfectly, side dishes were awesome! Fine dining at its best...Not Cheap!! Excellent wine list.

I come in on 2/1/2022 to celebrate Chinese New Year, Very delicious food and friendly staff, valet parking but need pay $7. I treat the dinner and totally paid $200 including tip. Not bad, but I am so busy today, I hope come back in the future.
