I became sick last night after eating the salsa that was bad, old, sour or whatever. I ordered a shrimp tostada, and 2 piece breast with sides. While eating the tostada I was also eating the salsa. I could not tell it was sour at that time.When eating the wing and breast I put salsa on my floured tortia. That is when I tasted the salsa and how bad it really was to be eating it.But, I had already digested the salsa with the tostada, which camouflaged the bad taste it was awful. I woke up about 4:00am feeling nauseous. I went to throw up, nothing would come up. Now, mind you, my stomach is still hurting. Try to use the commode, it helped my stomach some. I drank some ice water and laid down. Eventually, I went back to sleep.
Food was good but the restaurant was so dirty. Bathroom, dining area all dirty. There was no clean table to eat. We asked 3 times for someone to come clean our table before our order was ready. They finally came when we were halfway done eating and had to move pick up everything and move it out of the way so he could clean. Which we didn't want to have to do and that's why we insisted on getting a table cleaned before we got our food. I'm not sure if they were having a meeting or just on break but there was a large group of employees sitting together in the dining area, they heard me complaining and none of them bothered to at least tell another employee to come clean. Definitely not going back to this one.
Staff was great, one customer being a pain in the ... About wearing a mask. Team did amazing job. Food was great too.

This is a great local El Pollo Loco. The one down side, it can get extremely busy.
They say they open at 9am but the rude lady on the phone lied to me and said they open at 10am. I’ve went ahead and reported this establishment to the Better business bureau for falsely advertising opening Times, they need to update their service time to 10am opening time.

Drive thru is always long wait employees have no training in customer service they be using gloves to touch money and serve food horrible training specially with what’s going on right now plus the food is not create taste and dining room be closing before 7pm lately and the closing time is 9pm but they close at 6pm or even earlier not recommended
What can you say about El Pollo Loco?? The best everything! No need to say more.
This place is the worst long time on drive thru dining room is always closed, very horrible attitude and bad customer service I don’t recommend this location used to be highly recommended but not no more, a lot of nice and polite employees are no longer working there and now the new ones are very unprofessional and rude specially manager Maria, very rude and unprofessional don’t recommend this place
