On June 23, around dinner time, I arrived with three of my friends. We had previously attempted to dine at Italico, but with a long wait list that would not work for us. We walked down the road to Terún, where though they were comparably busy, they provided us with an accommodation. The staff had so much charisma and truly made us feel welcome. The food was very solid, however some of the pizza crust was a bit salty. I would come again.
I ordered two staples from prior visits. The romaine salad was soggy and overloaded with dressing. The margherita pizza was undercooked and droopy. We told the waiter the pizza was undercooked but he didn’t take it off the tab. Too rushed to argue but that was really terrible. I think that with the huge outdoor seating area they are rushed and not paying attention to quality. Wake up guys, your sellout crowds won’t last if you keep this up.
Went there for a friend's birthday dinner. The food was fine. The server was okey as well.We reserved our seats for 9pm. But shortly after we seated, the server started saying that it was the last order of the day. Although it was barely 9.10pm on Saturday evening. We had ordered for 3 different types of pizza. 1 salad and a tiramisu desert in the end. Not much options for vegetarian though.Although the pizza tasted okey it was nothing special. Felt like i ate a lot of bread and the taste didn't excite me at all. The middle of the pizza was mostly falling off whenever you taken a pie out.The vegetarian salad was much tastier i must say.And the tiramisu was all of our favorite.
Upscale but relaxed Italian fare and small plates venue offering a variety of delicious pastas, plates, pizzas, and hand crafted cocktails. Service is excellent, seating is abundant both indoor and outdoor, and the food is amazing. We especially enjoyed the food and cocktails here. Starting with the drinks, they offer sangria and hand crafted cocktails. The margarita here has an intalian twist but comes highly recommended! The Sangria they had on offer was amazing! All of the food here is excellent as well. If you enjoy pizza, they have a wood fired oven and the pizza is cooked to perfection. We tried the pear and Gorgonzola pizza. It was a perfect blend of sweetness and tartness. Also, the Ravioli here has slow cooker short ribs inside, and it is absolutely to die for!I recommend this place for those looking to have a few small plates and cocktails over conversation. It’s Italian themed but don’t think just pasta here. It’s light, tasty, and fast! 10/10 for this one!
We’ve been here several times and we’re always satisfied with the food. You usually need reservations unless you are ok to wait in line for a long time.I do love the gnocchi and I can have 2 plates of it as the portion is not big and its soooo delicious.
A few friends and I came to Terun with a dinner reservation for indoor seating. The restaurant has a nice vibe inside, and also has a lot of outdoor seating both in the front and the back (I’ve been to the back patio before and it has a really pretty setup and nice atmosphere). We also liked the aesthetic presentation of the dishes! In terms of taste, the truffle egg pasta special was so delicious, although it was also pricier than the other dishes. The rigatoni and risotto were pretty good too. We also ordered the Napoletana which was the first time we all had anchovies on pizza—it gives a strong and salty fish taste to the pizza so some of us liked it more than others.Since it was one of our group members’ birthday recently, we also ordered a tiramisu and the waitress helped light a candle for us. The tiramisu was delicious. Overall, we had a great time celebrating together.
I love this place. I am only in CA for a short time, been twice. Fantastic pizza, great wine, wonderful entrees. Down to earth and classy at the same time.
Buffalo mozzarella pizza, not the best, but probably one of the best you can find in the South Bay.The mozzarella fritta, which is the breadcrumbed fried mozzarella was still cold inside. Would recommend to keep them next to the fire for a longer period of time and make the inner mozzarella become stringy and melted.Host waiter was kind ? and the outdoor seating was warm.
Love their pizza. The Pera is my favorite - mozzarella, gorgonzola, pears. These days they have a great Covid set-up with heat lamps inside a tent for outdoor dining.
This place has got an amazing vibe and they've managed to keep the temperature warm enough for the outdoor seating even in the winters! Very important for people who feel the chill more :DThe pizza and most of the desserts are topnotch! I didn't love the tiramisu as much compared to few other places I have tried but I highly recommend the panna cotta and the dark chocolate cake with gelato!
