Outside was too cold and unpleasant. Eventually we asked to move inside and the experience improved a lot. The food was good but a little bit too spicy. We had some communication issues⦠the waiter pushed salads on us saying the dishes had no sides⦠which was not really the caseâ¦
Haven't been to St. Michael's Alley since before the pandemic. It was a delightful evening for my wife's 80th birthday. We had a great seat in the corner by two windows, the service was impeccable and the food well prepared and served promptly. Here's an overview of the food: the daily special of a tomato soup was a delightânot too spicy or blandâand wonder of wonders, it was served at just the right temperature, not too hot nor cool. The scallops were delectable and nicely paired with vegetables. The bread course was tasty (could have used more butter). The wine was very good from a very minimal selection of riesling (only two options for this world-wide popular wine). I wouldn't buy it again but it was acceptable. The dessert was greatâa berry concoction that was savory and we licked the platter clean. A great ending to my wife's birthday celebration.
Delicious food, excellent service, and a beautifully designed interior. outdoor dining is popular, too. A wonderful restaurant for a night out with friends and/or family.
Fabulous food, excellent presentation and wonderful service produce a lovely and gracious evening of dining.
This was our first time at St. Michael's Alley. There was 4 in our party and we sat outside on a very pleasant evening. Food was fabulous and the service was ok. We would definitely go back.
