My husband's and my 1st time. Burgers were fantastic, wish they had fries but we got a bag of chips and some Mac salad. Mint chocolate shake and my husband Chocolate.

Every review and photo here is of the wrong restaurant. The "Peninsula Creamery and Dairy Store & Grill" is at 900 High St. The "Palo Alto Creamery Fountain & Grill" is on the corner of Emerson and Hamilton. They used to be under the same ownership a long time ago, but there was a split and a name change for the larger restaurant. The High Street restaurant has no counter and no stools. The menu here is more limited than the Peninsula Fountain but has your typical creamery, breakfast and lunch options.
Very nostalgic, heart-warming place with great sandwiches and fabulous ice cream! (Had the Turkey sandwich and chocolate ice cream). Definitely recommend
Random find on the way to a jobsite . Got the Emma favorite sandwich. It was great definitely hard to find spots like this now days .
We always go here at least once when we visit Palo Alto. Breakfast is always excellent. Their cinnamon rolls are extra special. At lunch their milkshakes are the best. Three generations in my family continue to love eating at the Penninsula Creamery
I don't really eat ice cream, but I come here for a burger sometimes. This seems to be one of the last places on the peninsula where you can get an east bay style independent burger joint. The patties are pretty big, the girl said they were third pound, I believe it. You can't get fries here, but I guess it's more of an ice cream shop and deli than anything.
Great place where the milkshakes are very delicious and I recommend the chipotle sandwich
This place is a hold-over from another era: think hamburger (topped with avocado), served with a root beer float. Nothing fancy. Just good food and reasonably fast service. What's not to like!
Great place! Quick and simple. Breakfast and lunch, sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs. Seems a little overpriced but honestly it fits the area. Great milkshakes here too!
