This has been my go to lunch choice for many many years! The food is excellent and the wait staff offers exceptional service - they really care about how your dining experience is. If I'm at Stanford shopping center, I always go to NM Cafe.

The service is excellent at the Neiman Marcus Cafe. We have had the same gentleman helping us over many visits and he is always so professional, polite, kind and helpful. The food is delicious. We make a point of meeting for lunch at the Neiman Marcus Cafe when we are at the Stanford Shopping Center.

We enjoyed having afternoon coffee and tea. The one dessert we wanted to order, they didnât have. Weâre disappointed. Our server didnât rush us but kept refilling our coffee and hot water while we relaxed and talked.
The staff was very nice, but once the lunch rush hit, it was clear they were overwhelmed. After we received our food our waiter did not check on us one time. Once we were done with our food it took us over 30 minutes to get someoneâs attention so we could get our bill. The food was good and the atmosphere was quiet and clean, but our overall experience suffered because of how long we waited in order to pay. This may not be the place to eat if you have somewhere to be afterwards.

We were looking forward to a day off and a nice lunch. We left after waiting 20 minutes. No one said anything to us after being seated. Couple things bothered me. I saw the hostess bring water to others after seating them but not us. I tried multiple times to catch anyones attention but was ignored. Second, I realize they were understaffed. I get it and willing to wait but at least acknowledge us. Say hi. People understand. Very unprofessional and unfortunate. This is poor training by management.
