Food was good with large portions. The problem was our server and the wait time it took To be served. The waiter was new and in training. But didnât appear that anyone was working at training him. First he arrived quickly to our table to take drink orders. When my husband ordered ice tea he told us they were making a new batch as they make fresh brewed and he would check when it was ready. I was served my ginger ale but my husband NEVER got his ice tea and his water glass was very infrequently refilled. Our salad came quickly but the lunch entree took a long time. This was just fried chicken and an order of ribs which are their standards. Overall the service was sub-standard and the meal wasnât worth the wait. This was an early dinner on a Friday night.

Happy to return to MacArthur Park, but stunned that there was no AC! Wait staff extremely nice, although a few minor mistakes.

Some of the food on the buffet was not hot or even slightly warm. Nice place with a long history and very friendly and attentive staff, but you need hot food to stay safe. It was concerning.
Bartender was awesome made iced coffee for my boyfriend for Fatherâs Day. Buffet was lovely although thought for the lox mini bagels and condiments would have been nice.
It was a disaster. We arrived early (restaurant was almost empty), ordered right away, and when after an hour and forty five minutes our food had still now arrived, we left. Itâs a great location, but the place is falling apart. Not what you remember.
