This review is only for their Black Forrest cake.I couldn’t find a good black Forrest cakehere easily and I was really happy to see it here on a busy weekend morning. Berries were fresh and it was close to how it tastes at home! recommend to try! They have good selection of pastries and I noticed few people picking up loaves of bread as well.

I was initially amazed at how great these cakes look and taste. The line looked long but they go through quickly. However, after coming here a few times, I started noticing something.1. Once I got used to the taste of the cakes here, I started noticing a strange taste. It’s very faint but becomes obvious after eating a few of their cakes. It tastes like some sort of chemical.2. I once strolled past the store after they closed. And I saw a full stash of cakes on their display at night. The cakes must be stored in the shop overnight, maybe over multiple nights. How do they keep them fresh?I put two and two together and decided never to come back.

Hands down the best mango mouse cake in the Bay Area! I have been coming to this place for the last 20 plus years for their mango mousse cake for all family birthday celebrations! They are quite pricy and have gotten more expensive over the course of the year but can’t blame them cuz it’s the only place that does the right! In addition to the mango mouse cake, the princess cake also taste pretty good as well. Also their sandwich baguette is a must try and make sure you have them toast it for you! It’s simple but tasty!

This reminded my family of stopping for lunch when in French. They have the same thin Baguette sandwiches. They had tables outside in the mall area. Perfect for a sunny day relaxing. $15 for a small baguette sandwich was a little much though. Although I don't know if it was good enough for a regular stop it was definitely worth a little nostalgia.

Husband bought a 9in cake for my birthday. This was the raspberry coulis with raspberry mousse, chocolate mousse and Italian sponge with white chocolate around the outside. My guests loved it, very refreshing and light - perfect for summer. The cake was anough for 10 people to have 2 slices each. Only downsides was the writing was a bit messy and my husband had to wait 20 minutes for them to finish the cake (even though it was supposed to be ready half an hour earlier). The staff are disorganized but the cake itself tasted great.

Long lines but it is worth the wait. The sandwiches are pretty good and the cookies are yummy! The desserts looks super cute and I wish I had more time to try more!

Good shop for both bread and numerous choices of pastries. They also serve coffees. There are seats to sit outside and enjoy people watching at Stanford Shopping center. Usually there is a long queue to get into the shop.

I am giving this place two stars because the workers were nice. The panini I ordered was cold, even though I asked it to be heated. The bread was mildly warm but the chicken inside was fridge cold. The baguette was disappointing, you could find a better one at a grocery store. The pastries were by far the worst part. I actually spit it out because it was so offending to my tastebuds. The drip coffee was burnt. Overall i say, save you’re money and eat somewhere else. The pricing was too high for such low quality.

While the prices may be high it is worth it. They have the best cakes and pastries in the area. Their croissants taste like they would in France. I always enjoy their soups too. Just had some tomato soup and it was great.

If you are a dessert lover and looking for the perfect dessert shop , look no more. It has so many beautiful and tasty desserts. The raspberry mousse is fantastic and delicate. Almond croissant are delicious but I recommend you try something else, so many delicious Choices to try.
