Another reviewer mentioned kirks burger bar was still out of comission and said it was the whole point of the restraunt. I agree. It was the original idea for the restraunt. The owner responded blaming covid for the bar not coming back. Guess what guy, covid is over. There are no regulations preventing the customers from doctoring their own food. Kirks is finished. I am never coming here again. This owner is failing this established palo alto business in a big way. Go next door to gotts instead. It's not as good but kirks deserves to fail.
This place was okay. The steak burger is of good taste and quality, I got the pineapple express and was pleased with my order, but nothing compares to Clarkes... sigh... search for a decent burger continues.
Wow.. what a burger. When it takes 3 napkins to eat a burger that is one juicy delicious meal. Also loved how the meat is cooked over open flame. A must visit if you are in Palo Alto.
So I recently went to the one Campbell, this place was amazing from the service to the food. Was hoping for the same experience in Palo Alto but it definitely was subpar on both fronts. Made it seem like it was an inconvenience to take my order as well as also my burger was overcooked they didn't even ask which way I wanted it to be cooked like they did in Campbell. Really disappointing honestly. I'll drive out of my way in the future if I want to Kirk's burger just to avoid the staff and the subpar food here in Palo Alto. I would recommend if you want to Kirk's Burger not to get it here.
Had a burger and fries. Was awesome. Was able to find a table with my infant daughter, eat my burger and feed her. Amazing time.
Top notch burgers! Beer! Outdoor seating! What more need?
Apparently they used to have super tasty potatoes wedges but they no longer do. However, the burgers was super tasty and the fries were still num num num tasty!! We’re totally coming back when we visit Stanford. We highly recommend this burger place if you are considering if this is the place to eat at.
Very good food. Ordered sweet potato fries by accident and they were amazing! (I don't like sweet potatoes, but these were great)
Wow, this place is really good. I ordered takeout for 3 double patty 1/3 pound burgers , large fries and large onion rings. Everything was top notch. Will definitely order again. Thank you, my family really enjoyed.
