Great place to eat. It is so good that sometime you need to wait 20 minutes to get your food. The best bagle I eat for decads.

Let’s talk about it. I have been getting bagels from Izzy’s for the past 20+ years. Bagels are solid. No doubt, but this tuna melt is not it. I paid extra 0.55$ each for lettuce, tomato, and onion. What I got was what looked like an iceberg salad. I thought they had the wrong order at first. My bagel and tuna were hiding underneath, and that iceberg mix was the “lettuce” I paid extra for. I hate iceberg and raw cabbage. The tuna must have been days old because it was flat out nasty and tasted super fishy. Just a huge miss all around. Super disappointed.

I was visiting my son in Stanford and for the first 3 mornings 'wasted' my time in McDonalds for breakfast. I found Izzy's and cursed myself for those lost 3 days! Had their Salmon/Lox Gourmet Bagel with a garlic or sesame bagel with the works. YUGE portion, filling, and delicious. Ordered a coffee to accompany. It was Covid times so no indoor seating. They had tables outside. It was cold but the coffee helped and the bagels never disappointed. I tired the Hulk's Protein Pack bagel as well. That was real big! The service was always prompt and the lady behind the counter making the coffee was proud of her skills and it was indeed a great brew each time. the number of parcels kept for pickup each morning show the popularity. My son since then has gone back several times to them from campus. Its my go to place next time at Stanford!

The bagel sandwiches were a disaster. They were flavorless, there was carrots in one. We ordered veggie but we never in our life thought there would be cooked carrots as the main veggie. It definitely had the feel that they just used some leftover cooked veggies from some day-old soup. The boba is rock hard and came slightly frozen? And the two different sizes make no sense (see pic) to us since we paid for both at the same rate. The bagels which normally are amazing there felt like they were a day old. And the box of pastries we bought - all of the pastries felt like they were a day old. Very disappointing

As an East Coaster, had high expectations for this place, but the bagels were a bit over-toasted and chewy. The lox filling was great though. Do be aware that there's no meat (bacon, sausage, or pork roll) due to being a kosher shop.Small ding: Didn't have ice for iced coffee despite being on the menu.

We waited in line for about 15 min on Sunday. That was okay with me BUT when we got to the counter to order our bagels they said it would take 45 min to make the bagel. Seriously ? Then we askedIf we could simply get bagel and cream cheese (still 45 min) so we ended up getting muffins. Disappointing since we simply just wanted a quick bagel to go.Revision: We ordered their bagels on a Tuesday morning via Uber eats. The bagels (7 of them) were supposed to arrive at 11:10am and we needed them quickly because we were checking out of our hotel room. They didn't arrive until 11:50am (10 minutes before check-out). Serioulsy 40 minutes late. I could even understand 15 minutes late but 40 is just ridiculous. Of course we had to rush and eat our bagels in the car after we checked out. I love the bagels but they need to work on customer service.

Very fast and efficient offering process with a large screen kiosk. You wait outside in beautiful California Ave, and they will call your name when the order is ready. The sandwiches are not the greatest, at least the ones I have tried so far. But it was a good choice for a quick bite in the morning.

Great bagel place, they serve quality bagels. We tried everything bagel, one with cream cheese and other with egg & cheese. I must say the bagels were soft and amazing in taste, we also tried cappuccino and their regular coffee and it was good. Their prices are reasonable and the service is quick. They have variety of bakery items but not a single gluten free option. Last, personally I felt that the welcoming nature towards the guests was missing, for someone coming in for the first time, they could suggest some options to try. Although, the bagels were great in taste, definitely coming back.

Izzy’s is a staple for us. Best bagels, bar none. Our favorites are the onion and egg bagels with lox, and also the Pac Man.
