The architecture and vibe is unique in this coffee shop. It is always popular and most of the customers are young people. Need to expect long queue and wait time when you try to get a drink there, which is why one star is deducted. Got Nola drink last time, which is highly recommended!
Very nice and clean, warm and inviting. The lady at the counter surprised me by making eye contact, smiling, greeting me, and enthusiastically taking my order - even making a recommendation when asked. You don't often get this kind of experience anymore in retail or food service unfortunately. It was a pleasure, and it made the coffee taste that much better ?
Blue bottle always has nice seating areas so I feel obligated to buy something there. But I don't like their coffee - it's too strong, or if I put milk in it tastes fruity for some reason - like Manresa and Philz which are quite popular, so maybe I'm the weirdo. BTW I usually bring unsweetened iced tea from a nearby tea shop into Hanahaus, and it's fine with them. But if I sit in the Hanahaus arcade area, I buy something from them - just not a coffee.
Probably one of the coolest blue bottle coffees I’ve ever been too. The place is cool and the coffee came out perfect. Big plus was that the dude behind the register was a fellow watch nerd who was super cool
Excellent place to study or just grab coffee. Though pricey, the coffee is delicious especially the cold brew. The sitting area is both study and conversation friendly with tables, chairs, and a fountain. It's just off the street for easy access while still being quiet enough to focus. They also have some dessert options.
This place is, as expected, rather brimming with customers ... Which is a given as I went there between 9-11. That said even in its busiest hour the store managed to serve quickly and without much issue.They were also able to keep the place clean and no table had leftover food or spills.The coffee was nice, the sandwich was nice, but the standout amongst what I ordered was the waffle. It smelled heavenly,was soft and crunchy on the outside and tasted just absolutely delightful!10/10 would recommend the waffle.
Came here to get some work done and wasn't disappointed! This place is super cute, with the whole courtyard available to work and also with the free wifi from the coworking space. Good place to just spend an afternoon and feel like you're in Europe and not in the US too. The place is located right on University ave so a lot of college students and some high quality drinks.
The team here is the best! Everyone is really sincere and supportive. I come here almost each day for the post-workout drink, breakfast with kids or some laptop work, and there were no any issues. NEVER. I am silly one and sometimes I can drop the cup while on the way to the table, and they always give me another drink. Also, I am a matcha fan, and their drink is the best in the area, no creepy sweet taste, no dull color, just the right balance.Today one customer was in the bad mood, I suppose, and tried to ashamed me and yelled at me because of my kid touching coffee cans on the open shelf. While I am agree that it is not right to touch them and I should have prevented this, sometimes it is really hard to stop the little one and I am not sure that this situation deserved such a reaction. But in this weird situation guys were soooo supportive again (thank you, Sam!). I really appreciate this, guys!
Hot cafe mocha, hands down the best in the town!
My wife said the coffee was good and she liked it, the way we do it at home. For her to say that means the coffee was really good. Unfortunately I did not try any, but can say the place is cool and tons of working areas once the pandemic is over.
