We had a wonderful night at BISTRONOMIE by Baumé for my husband's birthday! Even though we were not the only customers, the way the restaurant is arranged made us feel like we were having our own private, intimate meal.Every plate was stunningly beautiful and the compositions of flavor and texture were truly a new experience. Even the plateware and cutlery kept drawing our attention as elegant pieces of art.The service was wonderful, we loved how friendly, funny, and warm both the wife and son were. They really made us feel welcome and at ease.I would highly recommend to visit this place. We're not the type to frequent restaurants of this caliber so we usually reserve these types of visits to special occasions, but we are hoping the menu will change (maybe seasonally?) so we can use that as an excuse to return ASAP.Pro-tip: they are reservation only via Tock.

The six course meal is fabulous. The Wagyu beef is the best beef I have ever had in years. Fish is directly fresh from France and surprisingly tasty.
This is the first time I've ever written a review on a restaurant due to such writhe at insults and abusive. We had a reservation for 3 on a Saturday evening expecting for a wonderful dinner. However, the experience we had at BISTRONOMIE was horrible and unacceptable as in every aspect. No comment on the food.. Because we werent been served any!!! We were harrassed and were yelled at by the waitress after kindly asking and ordering the wine inside the restaurant. The waitress yelled at us for no apparent reason. We never been served any food as well as the owner/chef physically threatening to beat us up right at the restaurant. We had no choice but to leave to fear for our safety. We did call the cops to the property after the owner threatened to hit us. I believe its due to the fact we paid almost a $1000 in advance for the reservation therefore they dont bother serving no more. We were totally been conned.
This is the worst restaurant I have been to in terms of service. There is only one waitress serving all the tables. She is slow and also very rude. I would not eat here even if the food cost $20 vs the extravagant prices they charge customers.

Three of six courses were delightful and rare. The main fish course was simple and good. Service was mixed. Dining room was delightful. Expensive, which is why expectations are high.The required reservation app 'Tock' is customer hostile, it should be avoided.
I enjoyed the decor and host interaction. However the food was astonishingly bad and for that price, I would expect they tried better. I rarely leave a review but I was shocked by the subpar level and had to give a honest review. I wondered if this was a COVID effect. Like the quality of food should be better. Every single dish was underwhelming except for the bass and we came here to eat. The wine was nothing to write home about. I hope the owners can make improvements kindly.
What a lovely place. Very intimate experience, like being in the chaos chef's home with his family.Everything was wonderfully presented and delicious with layers of flavor. Wine was poured generously.
