Excellent food with fresh ingredients and delicious flavor!

We’d never eaten Georgian food but judging from the menu we had a strong sense we were going to like the flavors. We were right. The Khachapuri Imeruli (like a thin cheese pie) was very tasty. My wife had the Karcho (beef soup) which she enjoyed and said she’d order again. I had the pork Mtsvadi which was perfectly marinated and cooked and the tomato-based dipping sauce was a great partner to the pork. The potatoes needed salt. Our friend is a vegan and really enjoyed the Abjapsandali (veggie stew) and the Georgian Salad. Both portions were enormous. Too big to be ordered for one person. The service started out great. Team work. Super attentive. Filled our glasses of water before we needed to ask. But once they got super busy we were forgotten. Dirty dishes sat for almost half an hour and no one bothered to check on us. Never came by again to ask if we wanted dessert (we did) or anything else. Despite this slight disappointment (we sat outside in the far corner so maybe this was the problem?), we would gladly return for their delicious food.

Exotic food (for us) but interesting flavors and consistencies.

It was way too expensive. Two cups of wine (the cheapest ones) with two small plates were $85!! The noise inside makes it impossible to talk, and it was unclear how to order. It was my third time in Bevri, and my last one.

Everything was delicious! Went for dinner Friday night and the Palo Alto location was hopping. Mix of outdoor and indoor seating options. Nice servers. Kachapuri was delicious, as was the trout Will definitely come back to try more dishes.

The food was absolutely scrumptious! We were thrilled.

We have tried several Georgian restaurants in the peninsula and they all have pretty clean cut interiors, but the khinkali tends to be too thick and doughy (some may like this, but we prefer thinner skins, which is the way my Georgian family and friends make them at home). If you just want to fill your belly, you could do worse than this unprocessed, relatively wholesome dish. The meat filling didn't smell gamey like at some establishments, but there was a lot of denatured protein. They give you a tart red tkemali which my husband loves. I prefer herby green tkemali. Some Georgian restaurants charge for tkemali here (right up there with Asian restaurants charging for rice) so it is nice Bevri gives you complimentary tkemali. The Cornish game hen was beautifuly burnished from being deep fried, (we think it was because we were the only customers at the time and we heard the musical sound of hot oil bubbling and spitting) however fat wasn't rendered in some areas, yielding slimy skin here and there. Unrendered fat aside, this is a good option for people wanting to keep it light, just Cornish hen and salad. The trend of sprinkling whole pomegranate seeds on savory is not our thing, but some may like this.If you like cheesy buttery bread, give the kachapuri a try. We don't, but every time we pass by, we see the hot buttery bread with molten cheese being delivered to a table.Although restaurant was empty, only 1-3 tables at any given time, service was nonexistent, was asked what we wanted immediately upon sitting, had to go get our own menus, took forever to flag someone down to take our order.

The portion are not small. Good food, reasonable price, nice service. The dishes are in a salty side though

Lovely service. Limited food choices, quality is great though. Only issue is main course meant to be “shared” was 3 pieces of lamb chops for $48 which was definitely not enough for 2 people. Popular cheese and eggs bread was absolutely delicious, nice wine selection. I’d still recommend the place!

Fantastic and delicious food choices! Enjoyed the time there!
