The service is always great at Bazille. We frequent them for their salads, French Dip sandwich, Kung Pau Brussels sprouts, crab bisque soup, French onion soup and steak and fries. Great comfort food. We only wish they were open later!
Amazing service and quality food at the Palo Alto Nordstroms located in Stanford Shopping Center. Ordered the french dip and fries with a coke to drink and did not disappoint. Atmosphere is high quality, like a fine dining restaurant inside a shopping mall. Ensure to tip your waiter/waitress high as it's well deserved for their expertise and accommodations.

This is my favorite Bazille location (Stanford Shopping Center) because the atmosphere/ambience is the most serene and soothing. The food here is also better tasting than the 2 other locations I have been to, although the menu items are the same.It's one of the few go-to places for me when I want a nice, cozy and relaxing time with my favorite people over lunch or even just some desserts.The only reason why I don't give it a 5-star rating is because a few of the dishes are too greasy for my taste (e.g. the gnocchi with chicken meat balls).
Usually it’s great to eat at Nordstrom’s but it was just ok. The service was slow, they never offered another cup of coffee, it just seemed like an ordinary restaurant, not Nordstrom’s. It seems old and needs redecorating.

Delicious crab salad and nice environment
First time to this restaurant and I'm very pleased. The hostess takes down your name and number in case there is a covid case to warn their patrons. Management is showing great caution and establishing measures to combat this pandemic l. I truly appreciate and feel safer for it. Everyone is masked and the tables are clearly marked for use and social distancing. Paper menus are provided. I ordered a glass of the Sonoma Carter chardonnay, small ceasar salad, and the chicken sausage with Burrata pasta. Everything was exquisite, to include my waiter, Ruben. Phenomenal job at taking care of me for my visit. Good job Bazille, near Nordstrom and Stanford. Will be recommending and returning.
