Delicious sushi, amazing service, reasonable price- what more can you ask

Got an outside table. Good sushi. Got the dinner special. Was checked on multiple times for service. Would come back.

Great sushi spot!

Best lunch in Palo Alto! Not only is the bento excellent, but the service is amazing too. They are so attentive and take so much care in taking your order and making sure it’s correct. You can see they take pride in their business - Nice work Araki Sushi.

Great stop for sushi. Happy that it was open between lunch and dinner, as we were at the hospital and wanted sushi ? before dinner time. The place was clean and with a lot of light. You can sit on a booth or tables, no outside seating. We order California rolls, hamachi rolls, unagi sushi and shrimp tempura. Everything was tasty. Tempura was crispy and the hamachi rolls freshThey gave us edamame

This place is decent as far as sushi’s. The sushi is fresh and taste good the price is the same price as a high end Japanese restaurant witch it clearly is not. This is a quick fast sushi place but the prices are that of a high end sushi restaurant. I ordered 1 crunchy roll and 1 California roll (witch here is only 3 pieces for 1 order and it was $29 for the two rolls). Crazy. The rolls are not large they are normal size so why the super high price? The place is clean and the staff is friendly. The only thing that really got me was the crazy high prices. So basically is you wanted 6 pieces of California roll witch is a regular order everywhere else it’s $16 for 6 pieces! Crazy!

Great sushi place for not a lot of money. Table and booth seating with a few seats in front of the prep table. Also a big TV in case there is something important on.The grilled salmon collar is very good. Plenty of traditional and California style sushi choices. You can get combo platters of sushi or sushi and meat, and bento boxes. The only thing that lost this place a star is the beef... I'm guessing in order to keep prices low, they used pre-cooked, thin, pallid looking slices of beef. Even worse, they are striped with fake grill marks which I recognized from when I used to cook hospital food. It's a shame really because everything else was excellent and definitely not damaging to your wallet.

Bento boxes have good value. Beef teriyaki is soft and generous on the sauce. Tempura veggies are crisp and good. The tuna sashimi are cut generously, bigger than what I have seen at other restaurants. It was a good experience with great food and nice servers. Will come back.

Good food, large portions and quick service. The have many vegetarian roll options, but none in the lunch specials or the bento box. The serving sizes are pretty generous. Overall its a pretty nice casual spot.

This restaurant has changed ownership several times in the last few years. This is my first time eating at Araki for lunch and it will not be my last. I ordered the bento box with 3 items and the soup, tea, and edamame were complimentary. I absolutely found the salmon to be perfectly seasoned, the sashimi fresh, and the tempura was delivered hot. In addition, the wait staff were kind , professional, prompt to take my order, and prompt to refill my tea. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
