Not how I used to remember, pizza was dry, mojos was less quantity than years ago, place is big here in Palmdale, the salad i must say it was delicious. Basic American restaurant.
Bunch-a-Lunch price is $11.99 now! plus $2.99 for a soda. Pizza, chicken, mojo potatoes, and salad bar are good, but maybe not great enough for the pricing.
I think the food was ok. But the bad service made me lose my appetite. They charged me a $6 tip without my consent. I usually leave $5 to 10 for bad service, good service can range for $15 to $80 that I've tipped before. I'm a restaurant server and know how it works. This time I left no tip because I think they were *special* and sure enough I find my card being charged those extra $6. Horrible experience. I wanted to show my wife a good time. This was not the place. I do not recommend this place
The arcade is the only reason the kids wanted to eat here....Why?! Why transition from tokens to game cards? The machines aren't reading the cards, kids are getting scammed, and the nostalgia associated with a shakey's arcade is list. Meanwhile... Staff is so busy trying to help fix the situation that you have 4-year-olds sneaking behind the prize counter filling their pockets with prize candy.
So quite a few locals had said this spot was "meh" at best. But honestly between the value and quality, I was pretty happy. Their main pizza was delicious and more than enough for leftovers (or 2 people) with a medium. Got some mojos with it too that really were quite tasty and perfectly cooked.Dining in gives a lot of options for kids to play. Very happy I stopped on by!
Came here for a fundraiser for my moms school Manzanita and the service was truly exceptional throughout our whole experience there . Thank you Shakeys for always helping the community host great events .
Went for brunch with my daughter. Got the buffet. Chicken and potatoes were good. Pizza was thin dry and cold. The new ones they bring out the dough they use makes it taste dry.. Not worth the price I paid..
Freshly bake Pizza! And the chicken is so crispy and I enjoy eating !
