Updated as of 05/25/2022Pizza Hut made everything right. The store manager and their higher up's made sure to take care of my concerns and needs. It took a little bit of time, but I am overall happy with the resolution. I liked that they listen to my concerns regarding if I was a family that had money problems and needed to feed my family and couldn't wait this would have been a major issue.Previous - Star 1On May 18th around 4:50 pm I made an order for $97.70 worth of pizza. By 6:30 pm the pizza never arrived, I contacted the store receiving some of the worst customer service ever provided where I was placed on hold on for 8 minutes just for the young lady to ask what was wrong. I explained my issue and she place me on hold again. Once she returned she again asked me what was wrong before having her shift manager talk to me. Now what's frustrating is the young lady didn't even brief the shift manager (Michael) on what happened, so now I had to re-explain (Again bad customer service). After spending my time again explaining my issue Michael placed me on hold to only return saying that he was the one who sent out the order and that the driver must have delivered to the wrong address. Now mind you did he call the driver? Unlikely! Did Michael say let me get another order out for you? No he did not. I even said I make it easier and that I would just like a refund and I will drive the five mile to their store to retrieve it. Michael told be he was unable to refund me my money because he wasn't authorized to do so and that I would have to call or come in the next morning to receive my refund.Now lets focus on the customer service again. This was a perfect time to make a customer happy and say "Sorry sir for the inconvenience, if you don't mind driving here I will replace you order and make sure the manager knows about your displeasure". None of that happened, all he said was sorry and have a good night. So in short what he was really saying was "Whelp sorry I can't refund you money, you and your family will just have to go get something else to eat and wait more time. We really don't care if you were hungry we just like wasting your time".This is the impression you want to give all your customers it seems. I'm just another customer that the service team really doesn't care about. It's just about completing their shifts collecting their money and not caring about the lack of detail and affect it has on others. This will continue to happen and errors will continue to stack up some more. The driver had an oops and the management will remain below par. I am lucky I can afford to buy something else to eat for my family that doesn't require needing that immediate refund. Sad set of affairs when the way you complete your job reflects your work ethic.I guess back to Dominoes for personal and business selections.... Or is it just this franchise that's unable to function (Read the other comments and you'll understand). Order at your own risk!!!UPDATE: 05/19/2022I reached back out to the store concerning my refund to only be told the manager is off today (Michael told me the manager would be in, which now was a complete lie) and that I would have to wait the next day for a refund.I contacted corporate who informed me that they too couldn't give me a refund and that it will take up to 2 business days to receive a return phone call. At this point if I don't receive a phone call or a refund by Monday I will instruct Pizza Hut to donate the unreturned funds to a homeless center. After that I will make sure my corporation never uses Pizza Hut in any form for any reason due to the lack of basic customer service.The Palmdale Store team promotes lying to customers, not completing delivers and displaying poor customer service. I know i am not the first or the last customer that will be displease with this level over service without consequences to the staff. It's not about servicing properly it's just about the money and nothing else.
This place has hired employees with unacceptable customer service!!! I placed an order for my family and waited, the delivery time said 30 minutes, an hour and a half later I called to see where my order was and he told me oh we cancelled your order! I said why? He said because we don't have enough drivers to delivery it.I did not receive an email, text or phone call to notify me of this!!! Who does that? Not even I'm sorry . I asked why was I not notified???? He said I don't know, I don't handle that.I'm not one to write reviews but this here was straight up unacceptable.Who does that????
Hidden fees never mentioned it
My family and I got food poisoning from this place last night. We ordered a large supreme pizza and have been in the restroom since. I saved some of it to be tested.
Food is delicious but the wings that I order were mild hot and I receive bbq I dont like bbq. I was hungry so I didnt bother to go back so my husband gave it a try he said had a weird tast so it went to waste.
They keep there time if they say 30 minutes its 30 or 45 its 45 minutes. Being a mom and staying on schedule is very important and pizza hut was a great help for dinner
Order my pizza at 7:02, ready time was 7:20. Had to call twice on curbside even went in, my order could not be found. Finally pizza was given to me curbside at 8:30. An hour later in which pizza was cold all that was said was sorry.
Today I placed my order, I was 3 months after pizza ready time. But seems they forgot to bake my pizza and I wait for 22 minutes to get ready??
Ordered online for carryout with a pickup time of 6:10. My husband is still inside of the store waiting for 1 pizza, pasta and soda and it is now 6:50. Never comming here again. Ridiculous.
