Online order wasn’t made til I came inside and asked for it not sure what the point of making the order is then
Horrible service! I understand being short staffed so i could forgive the wait time but everything else was not forgivable. The guy Dylan kept touching his clothes and at 1 point scratched his neck and then touched the food. I asked him to change his gloves right before he touched mine which i shouldn't have had to ask he should have been trained on proper food handling , he then disappeared for awhile to the back for new gloves adding to the wait time. When i went to pay the cashier I think the name tag said jose was cutting pizza which was fine till he started burning them. I saw mine and thankfully it wasn't burned but a another customers was and he then gave her mine! At that point i and my family walked out ( made easier since the he still hadn't charged me) because i was not going to wait for a whole new pizza having at that point wasted almost 30 minutes! Staff needs retraining on food handling and customer service! Im sticking to the Ave K location never ever had a problem there!
Went in today to take advantage of the special deal if you have the app. First of all I notice the sign that they were out of a lot of toppings ? and also some other obviously hand written misspelled note. Ok whatever on that, then I look at the ingredients and yuck! It was as messy workstations, I kind of looked over all much as I could , cause guess what?! No one was there! Where was the staff? Only one person there and she didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked in. The floor was a mess of ingredients that fell on the floor, like that’s a safety hazard for staff , they can trip! Anyway back to the messy workstation, turned me off but oh well were there and for $3.14 I guess I can brush that aside. But then when we got our pizzas, the bottom bit burned and the cheesy bread undercooked.We sat to eat, and I couldn’t finish it, too burnt. I notice couple of people that came in , pretty much saw how the counter was and walked out. I also notice for as much of “out of the blue” staff came out, no one took the time to clean, wipe the tables or anywhere. Yeah I agree with the other posts, place is dirty, I would not recommend this area.People wake up and do your jobs! Stop texting and blaming others for your lack of work!! Management! Help your team not just tell them what to do and your sit your butt in the office or whatever else you do. It’s obvious no one there takes their job seriously, because well I think the management doesn’t either! Otherwise everyone would be out when you walk in and see workers filling up the ingredients, cleaning the prep station, wiping / cleaning the tables etc.
Be careful if you have allergies.I was there the other day and The two women that were making the pizzas Had bad attitudes and were cross contaminating.They were touching the vegan cheese and the mozzarella cheese with the same gloves and the other woman was so mad that she was refilling all of the new food with the same gloves touching all of the jalapenos the meats the veggies all of it touching everything with the same gloves. and she didn't even clean out the metal trays..this place is going to end up getting people sick
I went on Tuesday and had a great experience. Ariel and Danielle were very helpful. They worked well together when they took my order and made my food.
To the person in charge of the DoorDash tablet: you have the estimated times set way, way too early. That's why Dashers show up at your location and you have a bunch of them standing around waiting unnecessarily. Add at least 10-15 min to your estimated times, and when it's busy add 20+ min. I've waited 35+ min there before. If the pizza takes an hour to make because it's busy, that's fine, but set your estimated time accordingly so you don't have dashers there waiting forever. Dashers do not get paid for time, so when you make them wait so long you're costing the money.I hate to leave a one star but when it's fixed I'll change it to 5. And what a simple fix it is....
My wife and I love Blaze pizza…every Blaze we have been to is always professional, fast, and well organized. The one at AV mall is poorly lit, dirty, most of the staff have bad attitudes, they never have gluten free crust available, and the manager is very unprofessional. With a new manager I’m positive they’d be an easy 5 stars.
Extremely slow, and Very rude and unprofessional I politely asked if I could go ahead of the online order and was told no it took so long I walked out. I hate this pizza place now

2 months ago, had a bad experience at the AV Mall location. Bad service, bad attitudes, seemingly no management. Left a 2-star review that got a response. I hoped for improvement but nothing has changed. Waited for about 10 minutes today before walking out. Line was wrapped around past the front door. I think one person was helped in that time. One employee pulling pizzas and one other was taking orders in between trips to the back. Service and hustle used to be top quality at this location. Where is the management? A longer than typical wait is understandable when short staffed (they are hiring) but if the employees are dragging their feet, and there doesn't seem to be any management of those employees, its a bigger problem.
