It is unfortunate that our family experienced the worst service at our neighborhood Applebees in Palmdale Ca. Our server Katerin P took 20 minutes to come to our table after being seated. Instead of greeting us with a warm introduction, she annoyingly came to ask if we were ready to order without asking us if we wanted beverages. She didn’t introduce her self nor took interest in any of our needs. We placed our dinner order which was Two, 2 for $25 meals, a side of fries for a CHILD and three Alcholic beverages. needless to say she NOT once came to check to see if our food was okay or even see if we got what we ordered, the runner brought the food (we never received the fries until later when we waived down another server and he then waived her down) we got tired of waiting for our alcoholic beverages so we kindly told her we didn’t want them anymore. At this point our appetizers and entrees were out & finished. (Still waiting on the child fries at this point). She then walked straight to the bar to get the strawberry Margarita that was sitting in the bar brought it back to our table and sat it on the table without saying a word, we looked at each other puzzled & advised her didn’t want the alcoholic beverages anymore AGAIN since we were already finished eating our appetizers and Entres. her exact condescending words were ‘Oh You don’t want it anymore!? okay fine, no problem’ and snatched the drink back, it was absolutely baffling. After this occurred we asked her for the check. It was then when I decided it was time to make mangement aware of situation. Once i explained to manager what occurred she said ‘oh okay i’m sorry i’m going to go ahead and comp your drinks’… my words to her were, i wouldn’t except anything less We never got the drinks and in addition when we did receive one of them she Sntached the drink away. To recap this is what happened1. Server Katerin P took 20 minutes to come to our table after being seated2. Never introduced her self nor asked about us the consumer,3. Katerin P did not ask for drinks went straight to ‘you ready to order’?4. condescending behavior5. rushed us to leave non apologetic6. manager made it seem she was doing me a favor by compting beverages we never received7. over all bad experience, cold food & poor service wouldn’t frequent location again.
I hadn't been there since the pandemic started. Food is always good. Our server was superb
Had not been Applebee's for a while. They have some good bowl food selections. I had the noodles with Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken, it was delicious. It was enough for two people. Service was great also, manager visited each table asking about the food and service.
First time at an Applebee's, and this location did not disappoint. Nice clean establishment, friendly and outgoing server, and the food was seasoned nicely. I ordered a chicken sandwich, and while I personally prefer the chicken to be cut to a more uniform thickness, it was still tasty and I'd order it again.
Never the same issue, but always, an issue should be Applebee's slogan. Food is below average. They told us it would be a 20-minute wait, then took my phone number and never entered it into the seating system. After 30 minutes, I asked if our seats were almost ready, and we weren't even on the list. staff at door can only be described as young and annoying, table had a constant breeze, every time I come here which has been maybe 4 times in 15 years there is always something to make a issue of. And for a good note, the food was cooked well and had a good flavor. I ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp.
My family and I came here for a birthday dinner. Our waiter, Malcolm H, was incredibly rude to us. We sat at our table, and when he came back to take our orders, he was impolite, not to mention judgmental, to my Aunt, speaking through a mask. An eye roll and a nasty “I can NOT hear you.” Uncouth and absolutely unprofessional. We asked for two vodka drinks, with the same type of vodka. Not brought back correctly to us, and Malcolm H was more than willing to show us his distaste. As we were ready to order, he asked how my Aunt would like her steak. When she responded “Medium well”, she was met with legitimate judgment and an “under his breath” comment. Really, very displeased with the service. Let’s try that again, Malcolm H.
We had a party of nine as guests at Applebee's for our twenty year of age granddaughter. The Applebee's staff were Outstanding from our arrival to our exit of Applebee's. The receptionist Mario (Super Mario) received us pleasantly and very proficiently. Samantha (our waitress) successful provided every detail of our party. The food choices were all delicious with reasonable size of food portions. Overall a job well done, thanks!
Had the chicken and shrimp bourbon plates with mashed potatoes. Very tasty. Also had a refreshing Date night Daiquiri.?Our server Jose was very attentive as well as the young man working the bar. They made our date night extra nice. ?
Burgers are great here! I had the steak here and it was good cooked as requested the server was awesome great service thank you Applebees. Will definitely come back. :)
This Palmdale location was the first time my wife and I visited this location, residing in Canyon Country. The restaurant looks very nice, we are greeted and seated nicely, but our food was not hot, the ribs tasted like leftover meat and the platter tasted like unthawed package food which I did not enjoy at all. The waitress was very nice to us, checking on us in a timely manner.
