They just got a new chef, so keep that in mind when reading any reviews written prior to March 2022. My fish was badly overcooked. My wife's entree was fine, if uninspired. My Old Fashioned was in a whiskey tumbler with a giant ice cube, as is typical, but there was maybe 1/2 inch of liquid in it. IMO, avoid at least until the new chef gets their feet under them.
The atmosphere here is really nice and I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately the food is extremely over priced. The market salad starts at $16 for basically just lettuce. The menu advertises citrus but there was none. $2 to add a little bit of avocado and $6 to add some grilled chicken. It was really disappointing for a $24 salad. The tartine is tasty but also really small for the price.

I was very happy to choose The Pantry for my first bite when I landed at Palm Springs. Food, service, drinks, and arrangement we're all 100% in my books. The next time I come to Palm Springs, I'm not skipping this one.
