Food was decent, nothing extraordinary. But the service was good.

Located off the lobby at the Hyatt it's small open and terrible acoustics. Service at breakfast was very good. That's where it stopped. Was not impressed at all in the preparation. Standard Hyatt breakfast menu you see at many Hyatt's around the country.Having said that when you travel a great deal as I do, 'safe food' is king. Personally if it were not for the breakfast being free I would have asked down the street and tried a local place
Share inside the Hyatt is definitely NOT a small plate restaurant. They offer appetizers, but their menu is conventional. Food was OK. Service was average. Ambiance was acceptable. Sat too close to the patio door and the servers kept leaving it open, blasting us with cold air.
I had a bagel and lox for breakfast here and all of the ingredients were excellent. The service was good and it was a pleasant space that had been redone recently with the new owners taking over.
Don't punish yourselves. How this establishment is still holding on is beyond me. NOT WORTH IT, RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. Got bacon and some joe, but let me tell ya. The small strips of bacon was inedible to the point that I spat it out and had this expired, non-bacon taste (have no clue of the mystery meat). Those two came out to $25. Just close this abomination down pronto so others won't make the same mistake.....
The Bistro on the main floor of the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Palm Springs opens at 6;30 am for breakfast. We we arrived we discovered the fully set tables were covered with a fine layer of dust. The staff appeared annoyed we expected them to clean our table and the other tables as well. We found a menu of limited selection and expensive prices. There are way better and less expensive places to have a more delicious breakfast in Palm Springs. I would avoid this restaurant.
