The service and food was excellent!!! However the air conditioning inside the dining room needs better circulation because I was perspiring the entire dinner embarrassingly⦠It was not like that on our last visit in July.
Went for Bar Food and cocktails. First time but a long time resident of PS. it was predictable Nothing special nothing really bad. Basically a good value, 9.00 Well Martiniâs, small plates average 10.00 , Lamb Chops, mussels, shrimp, donât set your sites too high and you wonât be disappointed. Foster Meagher
Outside seating with over 100º temperature and no A/C or misting or fans doesn't make for a pleasant experience. The food was above average, the wait staff attentive but not observant. We had to ask for ice, pepper, olive oil, etc. , with extra trips for each.

Great food and amazing atmosphere! I took my wife and her sister out for a celebration dinner and we weren't disappointed! we'll definitely be back!
Third time at Sammy's, celebrating our anniversary. We were seated in the intimate back room on one of the corner banquettes. Unfortunately, next to us was a young woman with two young boys - preschool age. The boy closest to us was engrossed in a video and the woman never looked up from her phone. The video was loud enough for us to hear clearly. When their food arrived (pizza for the kids, nothing for the woman), the boy kept watching while he ate. I excused myself and asked the hostess to have the server request they turn down the video (at least!) but instead we were offered a different table. We ultimately accepted that, but I was disappointed to have to move from my favorite section, and annoyed that this "family" was seated among the more "grown up" crowd of couples seeking a quiet dinner. They could have been seated out front where it is noisier and feels more casual. Our amazing server Mario followed us to our new table, and while it was nice to be by a window, that section of the restaurant was less romantic and quite chilly due to AC. Mario took care of us, comped a glass of wine each, and ensured we got our meals exactly as we wished, even suggesting a combination of two dishes when I couldn't decide. This experience with the other diners was not enough to put us off Sammy's, but next time we go I will check my surroundings more carefully before accepting a table!
Dining at Sammy G's is always pleasant. It was a bit crowded indoors last night due to the heat outside. Perhaps that's why the food was a little off. Salads were great and the calamari were delicious. Entrees seemed a bit overdone and slopped on the plate with an inordinate amount of sauce.

Great crew in front greeting your guests - very warm and welcoming. Eduardo and his team helped us and made great suggestions. The caprese was great and the gnocchi & vodka rose were phenomenal pastas - highly recommended. Thanks Sammy for having a great team and amazing food.
