Wonderful dining and drag show
This restaurant is one of my favorites in Palm Springs for Asian food. Ever since Wangs deteriorated so badly, this became the only alternative. The service is usually good. You donât want to sit in the rear of the restaurant in the summer because they put in a huge fan that is most annoying. We moved to a better spot this time. I have been trying to convince the restaurant to add hot mustard for the table as well as offer brown rice instead of white, but to no avail. Maybe they will surprise me one of these days.
I don't live in Palm Springs, however each and every time I am there I go and get the lobster dum sum dumplings so ? good. Amazing must go... Staff if so nice and if you get the chance to dine near the pool do so.
Food is awesome!!
The dim sum (shumai and dumplings) were superb. the cold peanut noodles are a must have. entrees were delicious. special faves were the green chile in clay pot and the hong kong beef. and the lemon grass gelato was the perfect palate cleanser at the end of our meal. the wait staff are adorable and engaging and create an awesome vibe.
The restaurant smelled when we came in. The food was meh, at best. The crispy pork dumplings were good, but I did not enjoy the popcorn lobster or the "short ribs". For the quality of the food, the prices were too high. The sofa we were seated on was far too low for the height of the table, so we were uncomfortable the whole time. Server was nice but we noticed they didn't come around the last few minutes of happy hour to take orders, so we had to pay full price. Would not return.

All the flavors of the food were spectacular! A little on the expensive side⦠but worth it for a splurge.
All was great except that their AC was out! It was hot in there. I think this is a constant issue as it was out last time we were there!
