Went for dinner on Thursday my server was so racist not welcoming at all, he threw a straw on my table told him not to do that and made fun of me I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND this place at all because the service… hopefully they trained their stuff better..
First place I took my wife before we were married. Good times then and better times now! Thanks for the complimentary deviled eggs. My wife loved the Lemon Drop. Our soup tasted great, and the rest of our meal was excellent. The service: friendly and on point thanks
Stopped in for cocktails. Bartender was delightful, attentive and made a good drink. The lemon bar was delicious. Checked menu and will be back for dinner.
Off the chain. Great staff, always dogs to accomapny you if you eat on the patio. Great food at a great price with nice large portions. Cuban done right.
We return every year for the fried chicken and turkey dinner. So amazing and generous portions. This time we visited twice. Prime rib the second visit. OMG...so good and a huge portion. The prices are also reasonable in a time of crazy inflation. Special place.
What a delightful find! Was searching Google for a dinner place and gave Rick's Desert Grill a try and glad we did! I had the Cuban Lechon Asado and it was so good! My wife had the Havana Chicken, another great choice! The old fashioned I ordered was also very well done!I highly recommend Rick's Desert Grill!
Had an early dinner after getting into Palm Springs. Took advantage of the great Happy Hour specials. The nachos hit the spot and the fish tacos went well with a mojito. Great spot and good food. Worth the visit!
My partner got the Cuban pulled pork which was very flavorful and juicy. I got the Havana chicken which was dry and flat cut like for sandwiches. Would not recommend that dish. The yucca fries and plantain were delicious. I got a flan for dessert but texture was firm not soft and the taste was not rich like I expected for a $7 flan to be. Overall an okay dining experience but I wouldn't get the chicken or flan again. I've had the seared ahi several times in the past and that's usually good.
The food was alright. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. The service was also not very good. We were seated quickly, but no one checked in with us to see if we were ready to order until we started looking around. Thought that was a little strange.
It's my first time having Cuban food and it was really good. Dessert was not so. Fried banana is a must.
