My first time there. Loved the bar area, in fact we sat at the bar because they were busy & didn’t want to wait for table.. we were greeted by Paul when we entered. It’s located in a strip mall & if you didn’t know it was there - you could miss it! I would go back.. Check out the many dog photos in the hall on way to the loo..

A friend suggested this unique restaurant located inside a shopping center (don’t get drive way when you pull up). Upon entering, the place is small, low lit with seating at the bar or tables. The drinks and food are delicious! It was our first time and it won’t be our last. Highly Recommend this place.

We were greeted as we walked in. Since there was no place to sit our drinks were brought to us by Paul with a huge smile and a 'thank you for coming in' while we waited. Shortly after we were seated at the bar and were treated to a very exciting view of the bartenders making fabulous drinks and serving guests their food. We had excellent food! Steak frits was really good. My drink was made exactly how I make them at home ? yes its a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Here you are gonna get great service, great food and drinks, and the best ambiance this side of Chicago! So worth it! Come in and experience this super awesome bar for yourself! We love coming here!

This place is notorious for it's hidden facade. After all, how could a place in a dilapidated shopping strip with blacked out windows and only the words BAR FOOD be any good. This place is fabulous and being packed to the gills nightly proves it. It reminds one of a speakeasy which opens up into its own hidden world. It is essentially a long room with a great wooden bar running down one side and booths lined up on the other. The staff are welcoming and so well versed in what they do. The menu is not extensive, but there may be a special of the day too. Our last time they offered fish and chips as their special, and it was outstanding. Your out of town friends will be astounded once they get over the shock of pulling up to the place between a Quickie Mart and a cannabis dispensary. The down side is that they do not take reservations, and there is very little space to wait for a table. Probably going early or at the shift in tables around 7 is the best strategy. There is limited parking as well in the strip mall which always seems full of cars for some odd reason. I love this place!

Last time I was down here, I went past this place and was intrigued. Then my friend who lives in PS most of the time told me about it. So this visit, I took my mom and my aunt in. We were greeted by Paul, who is just a lovely human. Everyone was so nice and the food and drinks were fabulous. Don’t skip this place if you’re in the area. I can’t wait to go back and bring my husband. This place is a gem!!!

Schnitzel and some mussels to end a crazy week. Paul was the place to decompress and get grounded. Love this place !

One of the most talked about and hugely popular small “speakeasy” bars in Palm Springs!Their classic cocktails are amazing, and they have good menu choices that are all delicious! (I always get the calamari…)Paul, the owner, is a super friendly person who will meet you at the door to seat you with a smile of appreciation, and will even get a drink for you, if you have to wait a few minutes. The bar is very plain in the outside, but vintage and beautiful inside, with great liquor choices, and friendly and helpful bartenders that sport little bow ties.Since it is SO popular, amongst Palm Springs visitors and locals alike, it is very busy! They don’t take reservations, so expect a wait when you arrive, but it is worth it!To beat the crowd, we usually arrive about 3:45 or so and stand in line for him to open up at 4 PM. If you go later, Paul will usually give you an accurate estimate for a wait time (usually 30 minutes to an hour…)Take the time to experience Paul Bar! You won’t regret it!

Well, this place is not in the best part of town. Some may say it is in the rough area. We were skeptical at first, but once you open the door it is a whole new world! They don’t take reservations, first come first serve, and it gets busy all the time. The drinks are a great and I was feeling the effects after two. They don’t skip the booze in here, which is very rare to find. Excellent appetizers and menu looked great! Never an empty table and our host, Paul, was fun!!

Located in an unassuming area off the beaten path this classy bar has wonderful food and delicious drinks. Some of my favorites are the French dip, French fries and kale salad. The owner greets everyone at the door - which is a charming touch. While the staff are well dressed to fit the atmosphere and service is impeccable.Get there early and be patient because they don’t take reservations but it’s worth it.

Exceptional service. Quirky, charming ambiance. Amazing food and libations.
