The bartender was was very friendly and pleasant… she brought out our first order which may I state was still cold in the middle (frozen). I had a very simple salad which I had to drain ALL of the water out of which disgusted my husband. In the middle of consuming my soup (salad) the cook yells “no ribs!!!!” from the kitchen . At this point I am terrified to order anything else BUT my husband insisted that I eat since it was so late in the night. He orders the New York Strip … medium rare. After trying to tear through the meat grinding my steak knife embarrassingly through it . I ate three or four bites of the steak and started to choke because there was so much fat and gristle I couldn’t swallow it . In turn I’m giving myself the Heimlich maneuver and he ultimately decides to tabs us out. I say nothing bc at this point I was completely done and still hungry. I lost all motivation to eat and just moved on with the rest of the night of alcohol. BTW I had a ginger ale to drink and nothing else prior.
To be in Palm Springs and only take cash is unbelievable. It's an inconvenience to your customers. Is it worth losing this much business? A group of nine of us sat down, menus tossed at us, and told (after we'd ordered and been served our drinks) they only take cash. I guess that one is on us for not checking Google reviews first. Still, that's a lot of business you don't have because you're "not willing to pay the credit card companies." - What our server said when we inquired why not. Also, the pitcher of beer was served with two EMPTY glasses and a "ripoff" block of ice in the center. At least another glass of beer you can't drink.Summary: First and last visit. Or, perhaps, I'll visit again in a decade when they've caught up to modern civilization.P.s. Sprinklers spray you on the patio.
Very disappointed in the experience. We had intentions of eating there. We had a large group. Nothing posted on the entry door that they took cash only. After we ordered drinks and were served them, the waitress informed us cash only. No one had cash but a couple of us. The waitress said we could go to any of the 7 banks that the bar/grill was surrounded with. We told her that was a serious inconvenience for customers who don't want to do that. I paid for the drinks and we chose to take our business elsewhere. The other thing we were upset about, we paid a hefty price for a pitcher of beer and when.we received it, it has a "cooler" in the middle. We literally paid for a full pitcher. That half pitcher was from two standard glasses, not beer mugs!! Not worth the money or time.
I and my friends did not like it here because it was cash only. When the waitress satus down, she tossed the menus at us like she was tossing a deck of cards. Also, someone in our party wanted to order beer, so when the beer came in the picture there was the cylinder in the middle of it so less beer for you to buy more. It just was not a great place I would never go back there again.
Friendly people great attitude atmosphere is awesome I would recommend anybody to go to them great bands and night when they have them great
service was great. food was delicious
It looks like a Roadhouse. Sounds like one too. Patio, pool tables, full bar. But, they only take cash, and they shun face coverings or Vax checks, despite city ordinance. Very political bar. But the bartender was kind enough to introduce a new beer to me (Coachella Brewing, tasty).
Don’t go! Have an awful sign out front, tacky and derogatory. Terrible rude service. Actively contributing to the spread of COVID, no request for cards, not a mask to be seen on patrons or staff. Skip this place and go somewhere that’s actually contributing to the city in a productive way.
Wonderful local bar that we are happy to have found! Be there every time we go back.
Enjoyed the atmosphere. Bartender was great.Food was really good. Will go back.
