Great food and outstanding service. Can’t wait to be back.

Had an amazing meal. Table side service was phenomenal! The drinks…THE DRINKS were just delicious. Get the martini. My meat eating friends all loved their meals. I was able to eat vegan and still had delicious choices. Our waiter Aaron(sp?) Did an amazing job. Highly recommend.

Unbelievable experience. The food was amazing, service impeccable. Second time here and will continue to return.

Melvyn’s is a lovely restaurant with an old Hollywood vibe. You can always count on a delicious meal with fabulous service.

Living on its laurels

Thank goodness this gem was rescued by a great management team! Consistently a great time! Menu, quality and service are all good.

Everything was AMAZING from start to finish!! Definitely has Old Hollywood Glamour vibe; we will be back!

Was really excited to try but the experience was really lackluster and disappointing. I enjoyed walking in to such a lovely atmosphere. The outdoor patio section is really beautiful. Unfortunately our server was really inattentive. He seemed to be preoccupied and laser-focused on just one of his tables and impossible to find. We finally got to throw in our order after having been sat for over 29 minutes. When he did come to our table, he seemed uninterested and just really unhappy to be there- that didn’t make our experience welcoming. The food didn’t really impress in anyway. The chicken pot pie was more like chicken soup. It was drowning in broth. The risotto was too thick- it tasted like glue. The wagyu burger wasn’t great. It was put together in a bun that tasted like sawdust. I ordered a medium rare burger- and it was brought well done. I didn’t get a chance to ask for a properly cooked burger because we never saw our waiter again until the end of our meal. I think the fries were good and that’s about it. Won’t be returning again which is a real bummer. Not sure if they reserve their dazzle for their regulars- but the whole experience was mediocre.

They did a really great job, food was very good and service was excellent. Stayed after for a drink at the bar and the fabulous entertainment.

Disappointing return to Melvin's. Service was poor: slow, servers bumping into chairs as they passed by, took a long time to get server to take cocktail order. When food came out the guys delivering food just put down and didn't ask who had what leaving us to pass around hot plates. I understand staffing issues during COVID but they could take a little time to train. The main waiters are the ones that have been there for years. On top of all that, they have REALLY jacked up prices (as have most other restaurants unfortunately): steaks a la carte are $60-$75, desserts are $18! Earlier this year they had delayed raising prices but now have caught up and exceeded most places. At this price point ans service level I will not be returning. Sad as it has been on our list of reliable restaurants for many years.
