Excelente service great food

Not sure about other people's experiences at Maracas but we immediately hit it off with the bartender. His suggestions were spot on, the Calamari was fantastic, specialty margaritas the bomb! Watched the wait staff having fun and in today's day and age EVERYONE needs more fun in their life. Thanks for the great service and welcome to Palm Springs

We enjoyed our meal at Maracas. I had the tostado salad and the lettuce and veggies were very fresh. The tostada shell was cooked to perfection. Hubby had the shrimp burrito with red sauce. So huge! We brought it home and both had the second half for lunch the next day!

It was an ok experience - a little hit and miss. I would recommend for drinks/snacks- not so much for the food. The seafood enchilada were ok, but tasted a bit fishy. The bbq chicken quesadilla was good though could have used more cheese or to come with pico de gailo. The open faced enchiladas were alright - the refried beans and rice on both enchiladas were dry and had a bit of a “skin” on the beans, like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The mango tango frozen margarita was amazing though! Service was good though.

I had been going to Maracas once a week for the last 20 years , today I got a very rude hostess. I had been putting up with the lack of staffing and the slow service since the pandemic , I have been very understanding how hard it si to get workers , But today the very rude hostess was top. I canceled my order and left because I would not put up with a 20 years old hostess rudeness. I have been trying to calla the restaurant and talk to the owner manager and tell what goes on when he is not there but the employees kept giving me excuses .he is not there .. he has a flat tire ... and so and so .. finally talked to the son who was not very pleasant either . I would say good by maracas.

We returned to Maracas because we had good memories of it when we traveled to Palm Springs a few years ago.The ambiance was still good. The service remained very good. Our meals were quite good. The chips with salsa that we had before the meal were consistently and notably bad. The salsa was good. The chips were a long way from fresh - very dry and tough for a chip. This was an embarrassment for any respectable Mexican restaurant.Overall, we were happy with our decision to return to Maracas, but we will be open to something else next time we are in town.

Made special holiday arrangements from the UK to visit Maracas on Tue 22nd March. Extremely disappointed to arrive and find Maracas was closed on Tue & Wed and yet this was not indicated on their website or even on Google. WTF is going on?

Great place to people watching, outdoor seating, lots drinks options

Vegan food options. Excellent customer service — friendly attentive staff.
