We arrived very late and had a slight issue with checking-in to a secondary room. Ashley C, front office supervisor, was able to resolve the issue with ease. We were greeted with impeccable customer service from everyone employed at this facility. Rooms were clean and furniture/amenities were current. Valet parking is included with your hotel stay, however be mindful there is a daily resort fee of $40. We recommend this facility and will stay again whenever we return to Palm Springs.

we stayed there four nights it was excellent. The rooms was very comfortable and clean.I was inlove with envy restaurant and especially bibiana who works there. we tried oreo cheesecake it had beautiful shape like flower and it was so delicious and the view of restaurant was good indeed.

I want to say this first...The staff at the Kimpton Rowan are top notch!!!! We booked last minute when we were told the Renaissance Palm Springs was closed due to a private event, (never informed us) and they cancelled our reservations day of arrival. The Manager at the Marriott Renissance should be ashamed. The most unprofessional staff and resort. Thanks to them we found the Kimpton Rowan. I called them and told them we were stranded without a place to stay. They took us in and upgraded us the the most beautiful room we ever stayed in. It was a junior suite with wrap around balcony. We sat on that every morning and every night. The views were breathtaking. They knew it was my birthday and made my day so special. Ahmed and Jose at the desk were so helpful and sweet. Everyday and night when you return they say hello and welcome back. The roof top bar is beautiful. The staff up there are so attentive. Constantly asking if you want something. The views up there are amazing. The housekeeping staff are perfection. Our room was so clean every time we returned. The vibe there is so relaxing and pleasant I cant say enough about how wonderful this place is. I am now a HUGE fan of KIMPTON brand. If you are going to Palm Springs, I suggest you stay at this resort. They are located right in downtown and steps from everything. You dont need a car at all. They do not disappoint. In todays world, when we all need to relax and enjoy ourselves, they rise above and make you so happy. Marriott should learn a good lesson from them. Thank you everyone at the KIMPTON ROWAN for everything. You made my birthday perfect.

We stayed here during Coachella when our other hotel turned out to be a scam. Loved the service and how quiet our room was!!! Can’t wait to come back again. Great location and they also charged our Tesla. Very easy to get to from the freeway and airport as well

Worth it for the pool alone!I can't think of one negative about this hotel. From when we walked into the lobby to when we checked out, everything was great. The room was spacious, clean and up to date and the location in the heart of Palm Springs can't be beat. The rooftop pool is the best part, with amazing views, friendly people and great cocktails. The cold brew at Juniper is a must try.

On a previous trip to Palm Springs, we had walked past the Kimpton Rowan Hotel, and thought it looked nicer than the place we were staying in. Since my wife had scheduled a business meeting in PS last week, I decided to tag along and make it an overnight trip. Remembering the Rowan, I booked over the phone, and requested a quiet room on a high floor. Check in had the request noted and gave us just what we wanted. Staff was friendly, room and rooftop pool were great, and you couldn't ask for a more convenient location (with free parking to boot!). We'll definitely stay at the Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs next time we're in the desert.

I had my afterparty for my wedding at one of the rooftop event spaces. The people I coordinated with ahead of time were helpful and quick to reply. The one main thing I emphasized was that I was bringing my own speakers and would have a dj setup. I was told this was acceptable as long as the windows were closed. When it came to the day of the event, the staff working did not allow us to dj. This was one of the things I was most excited for during my wedding weekend, and they made promises that they went back on which was disappointing. One of the staff members in particular was very rude which was a buzzkill for me on my wedding night.

Perfect location, great staff, clean. Expect to be treated with respect and awed by he Mountain View. You will not want to leave, b sure to visitbTropicale for brunch or happy hour. It is a ten minute walk. Juniper outdoors is a fine restaurant and good for people watching.

A great stay, excellent service, and courteous team. More importantly, HONEST STAFF! I left behind in my room a Chanel perfume and body cream. Once I arrived home, I’ve called the hotel manager and he immediately reached out to the room service team and my items were found. Alicia the individual who did our room returned my items. She could easily just keep the products but instead she returned them. Permit me thank you and express my gratitude to you Alicia and Mauro. A very delighted customer.

Pros: - location is central downtown Palm Springs so if you just want to park your car and not use again you can easily walk to restaurants etc -comfortable beds and good linen - reasonably large room - good, gushy shower and quality toiletries - good cooked breakfast in Juniper restaurant on ground floor - attentive and polite staff Cons: - its cool and hip vibe means the lobby and entrance are cold and uninviting - no drawer space in rooms - only 2 provided (you have two people in a room for maybe a few days and you provide only 2 drawers? There is loads of room to provide a chest of drawers or similar) - only 1 easy chair provided in room - plenty of space for second one. - no outside space around hotel except for the patio for the breakfast restaurant. - central down town Palm Springs - so you get the noise, and all the drifters. - the breakfast restaurant cannot distinguish those guests who have paid for breakfast and those that have not - so you have to pay and then get it credited; and 'included breakfast' means you are allowed to spend only up to $50 bucks per couple. - pool is small and one cannot do laps. Its a stand and chat type of pool. Must get very crowded on weekends and when schools are out. - boiling hot tiles in pool area - $40 for a resort fee ??? - became very expensive once all the fees, taxes and resort fee added on. Overall, just OK
