Enjoyed the chicken Parm which was tender and the sauce was very good. . Great service even when busy and my wife had Shrimp Newport and love it. I would definitely go back when Iâm Palm Spring.
Pricey food that's not up to par compared to other local high end Italian restaurants. Biggest disappointment is that I was celebrating my birthday and the manager acknowledged it when I arrived, but never offered a little dessert or something like most restaurants do.

Everything is prepared to order and is fantastic
My first bad meal in years at Johnny Costa's. The minestrone was excellent as usual as was the spumoni for desert. What was served in between, the seafood pomodora, was really unpleasant. The shellfish was cooked almost out of existence, with all that remained of the lobster tails was a fresh shreds of dry meat in each shell. The scallops were the size of quarters. The shrimp overcooked as well. The sauce was an off-putting light orange, very thick and glutenous. I couldn't eat much of it. The server said that was how is was supposed to be. Perhaps the usual cook was not working.
